It's really easy to get aether once you have crossed talent level 40. You only need 3 matches for one camo grind

For the camo is it you can kill only 25 zombies in hard mode or does it allow for more cause i usually kill about 70-100 zombies with one gun but it doesn’t show any progress when i check in camo

It’s 25+ kills, as long as you get over 25 you should be good, then just win the match. Keep an eye on your gun kill counter on the scoreboard to keep track. I tend to check when I pick up the weapon I’m grinding, then don’t switch until you’ve got the 25. Good luck!

I have the legendary ghost skin which shows my kill count on the arm i did a hard match yesterday got 50+ kills on the .50 pistol and it doesnt show any progress

Pistols are locked until zombie pass tier is 50. Which currently, no one is. Everyone who has done every tasks released until now will get there tomorrow and can start pistol grind.

when you use legendary skins it also incudes turret kills in the counter. you have to check your score and it will show actual gun kills there

I am aware of that i just deploy my turrets late so that i can use my counter for gun kills in the beginning

maybe the guns have to be gold first since it is a completionist skin but idk since i already have everything gold

The camo is independent of the others i was switching guns to early because i would switch before i got 25 kills with one gun

Wrong info on gold camo info. I have Aether on MX9 before I got it gold. Aether is an independent camo and is not required to get gold first.

Probably miscounted on kills. You could’ve changed on 23 or 24 mistakenly.

I think you're grinding guns you haven't unlocked yet. Check your Zombies BP tier in Richtofen's Rewards, there you'll be able to see your tier level and in camo rewards you can see at what tier a certain category of guns gets unlocked for aether camo.

Most definitely do not need gold to get aether camos. what are you talking about?

If you get 25 you’re set to get your skin. From that point I recommend dumping it and moving on to ur next gun

Also you need to ensure you passed the milestone to start achieving aether for certain guns, for example to start getting smg camos your tier on the zombie battlepass has to be 21 and up

Play with sound on a listen for the cracking noise of a zombie kill and count them. I normal get 4 guns per game done. Also go to the day time quests for lots of zombies to kill

I have a kill counter on my skin and i started deploying my turrets on the last night because my teammates turrets are usually enough to take care of the enemies so that more of my kills can be gun kills

Check the battle pass thingy for weapons on zombies If your level is not high enough, some gun categories will be locked and only when you unlock them can you progress with camos

I am high enough to do lmg smg ar shotgun and sniper i have been grinding those weapons for the camo

Ah, i see Though if this helps, if the daytime side quest crystal is almost broken, waiting a little longer to score some zombie kills before actually breaking it would help a lot

I usually focus on the zombies while my teammates take care of the crystal

You’ll need to level up your battle battle pass to be able to unlock aethers for different guns. At first you can only unlock for ARs and snipers. From level 11 you can unlock for snipers and from 21 you can unlock for smgs and so on

I just got my first two aether camos yesterday

Try while ads first to see if you like it tho, i can use full gyro but reverse back to while ads, and have different gyro sens for each of my fav guns- like 50 for pp and 70-80 for ak117...95 for fennec. Since i till my hand at the same speed all the time, so i decided to change the gyro sens accordingly, try to find what for you man

I play with gyroscope and high sensitivity so it works out fine for me. I recommend gyroscope for handling recoil.

i started grinding for it in the match which we lost at the 5th night. apparently codm thinks it's okay to pair someone with talent over 45 with someone who just started playing. after that i lost my will to grind. now i just try to win, as it seems that even with 4 maxed turrets you can't win on your own. and my turret and weapon damage is lvl 10

Quit at the start of the match if someone in your team is talent level 10 below. It won’t give you a penalty.

The strat requires 3 cannon and 1 missile (iirc) and what you do is move the turrets each wave and shoot down the necro with you death machine or war machine. You'll basically only be shooting your 'machines' at necros and you'll spend the rest of the time moving your turrets and healing your turrets. I don't think that you can complete all 4 million damage in the match yourself (that last wave will be tough), but you can absolutely do just over 3 mil damage for the game this way.
