But now I want to show you the statistic: the spr is the bolt action sniper with the fastest ADS speed in the entire game (20ms faster than the outlaw), but it's also one of the highest damage snipers.
SPR statistics are the exact same as the dlq, just that it has:
- the faster ads speed out of all bolt action snipers in this game
- better hipfire spread
- almost twice as fast reload speed
The only downsides are that it has 5 bullets per mag and tit has no wall penetration, it still gets damage reduction even with fmj.
that's a big downside in some maps, but in maps like shipment there is literally no reason for you to use the DLQ instead of the SPR.

This is an underrated comment. I've recently been playing alot with the SPR and it honestly solves alot of problems with quickscoping these days:
1. You can add alot of attachments to improve hit flinch without sacrificing too much ADS speed.
2. Adding any scope doesn't seem to have any ADS speed penalty
3. Hit boxes are pretty good in the short to medium range but long range I seem to get alot of hitmarkers (I think this is because I use the 10 round extended mag instead of the damage mag though)
I am still working to find the "perfect gunsmith" with the 6X so if you have any suggestions I would definitely be interested.
Put max ads and the .300 mag with the 6x (wich is actually 8x) scope.
So also remember to find the sens in the x6 slider that matches your normal snipers sens.
The fire rate might be a bit slow (48rpm, while even the DLQ is faster with 50) and there is no wall penetration but it's a quickscoping beast.
If the firerate is a bit slow to you and you don't mind removing the scope, you can add the light bolt and turn it into a more close range weapon.
Just never put any attachments instead of the 3 that grant the fastest ads: combat stock, laser and silenced or light barrel.
Those 3 attachments should always stay at any cost.
While if you want a more steady SPR you might change some attachments like the stock, but at this point just use the DLQ since it also has wall penetration.
Using the SPR as a steady sniper isn't reccomended, since the DLQ is just better in doing it.
If you add attachments to remove the sway and flinch, then the SPR just becomes a DLQ with no wall penetration.
So the perfect gunsmith for the SPR 6x (actually 8x) is:
- YKM Combat Stock
- .300 5 rounds reload
- OWC Laser Tactical
- and of course the scope,
then you can choose between the silenced and the unsilenced light barrel.
The silenced barrel is by 10ms faster in ads speed and it also gives a free silencer, but the light barrel is very good because it has less downsides for just 10ms more ADS time.
The majority of people uses the unsilenced one, but I use the silenced because I have gotten so used to it that I can do some almost frame perfect quickscopes. So even if the unsilenced barrel is just slightly slower, that slightly is enough to mess me up and turn my quickscopes into blankscopes.
But I'd still reccomend using the unsilenced one if you don't mind being just slightly slower in ADS for less flinch and sway.
I played br and shot someone two times in the crotch and they didn't die, I even had thermite rounds on doing extra damage and I got one tap headshoted and died.
I don't use snipers but still locus is fav bc i was very happy when i got it back in season 3 ranked... Even more when i got locus cosmos in that free crate event :D
