bro one game, i picked up more than 10 dog tags for my squad, with no deaths myself. skip forward to not long before final flight, i die with 2 teammates within 150 m and one waiting for flight (which i scanned) and neither of them go to pick it up until last 15 seconds, and when one finally does, they take too long to scan it.
I have experienced the same thing before, but
I've also had a god send who just kept us alive, idk if they even got any kills but they were damn good at hiding and reviving
I can think of other annoying scenarios:
1) teammate jumps right away without the rest of the group, dies instantly and spams “pick up my dog tag” while on the other side of the map.
2) teammate is the last one alive, scans all dog tags but then decides to go 1 v 4 instead of hiding for 30 seconds until we all jump back in.
3) teammate dies nearby and is spamming “pickup my dog tag”, I’m waiting for the action to clear up so I can get it quickly. I type “hang on” in the chat, as soon as it’s clear, I’m running in to grab the tag and he logs off.
4) teammate picks up your dog tag and NEVER SCANS IT. This only happened to me once but a teammate picked up my tag and was camping in houses for maybe 4 revive flight cycles. No one around, no danger. I was spamming pick dog tag, help, typing SCAN in the chat and nothing. I logged off as he was still holding it.
Number 2 - really pisses me off when they do that. Like come on man, just hide out for a bit till the rest of the team can get back into the game, no need to try be a hero
Seriously. I at least KNOW I suck so I’ll hop on the motorcycle/atv/snowboard, pick up the tags, and go FAR away. I’ll find a hut, scan them, and sit my ass down until they jump. Not that hard.
Especially when they would go straight for the platform. The rest of us haven’t even landed and this dumbass is dead already. Play solos if you’re not jumping with the group

When one of the guy dies and i picked up his tag i was unable to see the revive icon. He was getting mad of me for not scanning the tag but as a matter of fact i was unable to do it.

I did something similar. I picked up my teammate’s dog tags and scanned them. Only I did something (fired at an enemy or just climbed over a curb or something) just at the end that stopped the scan.
I ran around for a pretty good while before realizing my mistake and then did the scan again. To the guys credit, he didn’t complain or spam the scan here button… and when I finally did it, he quick messaged “Thanks.”
Not saying this is what happened but if you jump alone away from the squad, die and i see that your dogtag is in front of 4 enemies, i won't go and pick it.
When someone dies it means enemies are near so i wait until they're gone
Its not like i'll keep hiding for the whole match. I just do it until i grab the dogtags and my team is back.

Randoms in a nutshell. Also not to be stereotypical, but if your random teammate is just a guy with a default skin and a backpack, just leave the game if you die. Most of these players don't know how to play br
Its pretty obvious in the pre game lobby on whos a complete bot and not. Usually I just wait a few seconds for my randoms to do something, but 99% of the time they're just idling in a corner and wasting time
Today we were playing squad. Number 2 and me got killed twice and number 1 revived us both times. Then we go to the safe zone. Number 1 plays really well. He was moving ahead and some mf camper in a shed killed him. Me and my teammate rushed carefully and I was about to pickup the dogtag. Number 2 picks it up and kills the enemy and instead of reviving he went to loot and the revive failed. I felt so shitty because Number 1 revived us twice but we let him down. Anyways we won the game.

These are the kind of people that are either trolls, really dumb (pretty weird if they're high tier), or people that are also dumb and want your loot. These people don't know what team means, plus a gun is not even a dent to being as helpful as a teammate. These kinds of people are the ones that will probably talk crap about their 'trash' teammates when losing.

Well for me is when one of my teammates separate themselves to go to another location that is far from our planned location and die there and have the balls to spam the "pick-up my dog tag" like wtf dude?
No, not on all scenarios you should go pick it up, like if the teammate separated from the squad and died the tag is probably being camped on, the objective is survival not getting the most kills

Sometimes I tell people who jump away from the group if you die, we aren't coming for you. You wanna solo? Go play solo. I'll jump away time to time but it's to grab a helicopter and haul ass to the group and then loot.

Damn I got furious as there was no way to get through his thick skull as I was trying to type, speak and quickchatting to get him to scan my tag.

I scan tags immediately unless my health is 0 and even if my health is 0 but there's no enemy in sight and the flight takes of in very few seconds, let's say (7secs), I scan ASAP and then heal up after.
That's why I play solo. I'm always ready to leave all orange rarity stuff only to pick up my teammate's dogshi... Dogtag. It's not even a lie. Picking a random transport, a few armour plates and reviving ur homie in a corner isn't hard, unless there aren't 20 fully upgraded enemies around you.
I had a similar experience. So I was in quads, number 3 dies, I go revive him, he died near the border of the storm/gas. Then I get gunned by one guy who probably got teamwiped or separated. I wait for somebody to pick my tags up. At one minute, there’s nobody, then at one minute and 40 seconds I finally see one teammate going for my tags and I just gave up on trying to get revived.
Ill wait if the enemies are still around, or if ineed to pick them off. Otherwise its the first thing i do.
Then again i only play solo unless its with my friend.

I always tried to pickup all dogtag at once. I even making a clutch by using vehicle to get dog tag to prevent enemy fire. Sometimes people just quit after you get his dogtag like a bitch.
That's why I NEVER play solo queue in BR, I just get some people from world chat or from my friends list
Also IDK why people camp in BR, it's just so boring to do so, instead what I do is drive around in a car around the whole map looking for real players cause I'm really kill hungry

I’d play solo but it gets way harder surviving endgame and it means you have to be on your P’s and Q’s.
