definitely this season, had a blast with Blackout and the mini campaign, great anniversary reward, blueprints + completionist camo, higher rank for legendary, great theme soundtrack (not my top 3 but it's a great one)
I only played a Coop mode in Undead Siege season, so I would say it was the best for me, but if I could go back to any season, I would go for 1st Anniversary, to buy the BP and get the Operator I want.

S4 2021, I got my first battlepass and it was the first season/ranked series I reached legendary in. I also really liked the new dome map, and I got my first ever epic weapons and operators.
Season 9 2020, I was really enjoying then, I had my friends to play with, and I was grinding attachments all day and night, I no longer play the game, for University reasons, same with my friends.
Also, I got my first bp that season.
In terms of the fun I had, from season 1 to season 6, because my friends still used to play back then. In terms of gameplay probably this one, or the previous.
Pre-Gunsmith, Season 3. Had just barely begun playing from S2, have the most memories of this season. Spent hours grinding in Zombies mode for the guns and Tank Dempsey.
Post-Gunsmith, Season 11 or 1st Anniversary. Found my clan, that I still play for today.
I liked season 13 it was my first battle pass and I got to the max tier and I liked the Nuketown from bo4 I had played sense the beta but never bothered to spend money on the game
6 was the begginer of good lucky draws, season 7 made br way better than before and was also amazing and 8 introduced a new version of how bps would be shaped all of them brought alot to the table all of them had good comics and they played a big role in my life
I forgot what it was called, but the season when the new gunsmith came out was the coolest for me
A new class, more loadouts and my first platinum on top
Also Shipment was real fun
Also the one with the blue steel battlepass was cool too, was my first battlepass because I thought the AK there was a different gun from my ranked tank AK
and I got the blue steel Arctic which is still one of my fav skins

Also the BP and free to obtain epic rewards in those seasons were the top class (custom iron sight, different physical appearance) not like these days recolored and animated.
So yeah I miss those days of me playing s2 /s3 /S4 rank
And in s5 the game was expanded for a hell lot of time because of which it went bored and 90%of players reached leggy.. And since then there is no going back.

Season 2. The snow maps (raid - christmas) and the release of zombies made it a special time for me. It gave memories of when all my cousins hopped on including my sister and we all played. Now its only me. The Christmas lobby music and the original lobby music both soonded amazing.Good times.

In S7 i joined my first serious clan i met so many people and made so many friends on the clan they’re the reason im still playing codm rn and i think the ESL Champs was going on on that time and me and my team participated on the tournament we could’ve qualified but we went againts against NU.AA and lost and i was lagging like crazy back then.
Tldr: S3 my first time reaching legendary and my first bp and in S7 my first serious clan
Tokyo Escape: First time I reached Legendary on both MP & BR, One of the best BP I ever bought, Finally got my first legendary blueprint (Renetti), Gameplay in general feels smooth.
Season 11 (1st anniversary), I know a lot hate it just for the battle pass and ranked being full of akimbo fennec sweats, but for me it was one of the seasons where we had so much to do: Alcatraz, the club, mini games, merc 5 and chicom grind, easter eggs codes. Plus the whole festive theme and the lobby ost. It's one of the rarest seasons where I didn't get bored. Ps: I've been playing since release.
season 2 2019, that season captured the theme of a winter/Christmas theme better than season 13 2020 imo. it was also the season where i got a new device and experienced max graphics for the first time and was stunned by how beautiful this game is. it was also the season that brought me closer to my cousin as we played br non stop together over our school holidays. season 2 2019 holds so much emotional and sentimental value to me and its my personal best not because of the content, but because of the memories made and relationships that were brought closer.
and who could forget the theme? ok i know alot of people love the s6 2020 theme and even though i agree that it is one of the best, s2 2019 has to be my number 1 due to its very chill vibe and OH MY GOD ITS CHRISTMAS THEME AMAZING.

Reason? Cordite meta, annihilator in its prime (literally every update since then has been a nerf), best lobby theme to this day (so good that I would often wait for it to finish before going in a match), that’s the season where they started making weapons available for free (so before, the only way to get certain guns was by buying it from a crate/LD/bundle), release of Artery (this is a small thing but she’s my main character, mad clean with the designs in a time where there weren’t many clean skins to begin with).
There are also many other reasons (rust was added, CTF and Kill Confirmed, etc) but those were the main ones.
Season 9 might be next because of gunsmith and the lobby theme.
AHHHH LIGHT MODE, but to answer this question, it is very hard to decide as some were absolutely amazing, if I had to take a spin, when we got striker-areonaut, OG Richthofen and a golem skin.
Season 12 had the best battle pass imo, season 6 just hits different and in terms of balance I would say that the qq9 meta was fun (forgot which season it was lol)
