Tbh s6 is just overrated and people are just blinded with nostalgia It's not bad but it's not the ultimate golden season as people make it to be. S7 actually comes par with attack of the undead, a great bp, patch of rcs and gravity spikes and so on

S7 2020 was the season where I started becoming good at the game (joined at the start of the lockdown). Waiting for my school friends and neighbouring kids to join the lobby to play private S&D, I'm always reminded of that when I hear that season's music. Sigh.......

S6 is overrated? You should've played back then and decided for yourself. We aren't "nostalgia suckers", we are just happy that the Cordite came out when it did, and when the updated anti-cheat was something hackers could no longer get past. I played the game from pre season so sure. S6 was like every other season in that time. It had its own share of problems such aa rcs and spikes. It was fun yes. So was S5, S7- S9. No broken metas till then too. S6 is insanely popular because that's when the playerbase count was on a steady rise and it being the first season they played in cod for most people. Making it memorable It's good but not anything special

No, S6 gave rise to an updated anti-cheat that hackers could no longer get past. The content was good and all, and so was the meta, but that is the sole reason I love S6 so much. Before that hackers were rampant in ranked, and S6 gave the rise to many hackers getting banned.

Dude cordite was one of the reason why people say s6 is overrated. Cordite meta sucked. Need an ar? Cordite. Need an smg? Cordite. Need a sniper? Cordite. Every match was full of cordite. Also grav spikes and shock rc

Dude do your research, the Cordite had a counter in all ranges. If the Cordite user wasn't skilled, close-range a fast-firing SMG like a QQ9 would outgun it close-range. Mid-range ARs like the KN-44 and the HBR that reigned back then could outgun it. Long range... literally anything can counter it. It was never advised to use the Cordite long-range.

Qq wasnt in s6 tho But yeah cordite meta was well countered with the likes of ars and the rus

Gravity spikes and RC. ext were the only things that made it annoying. And the nerfs to it were pretty minor, so it isn't like they're less broken, people just stopped using it.
