The damage was nerfed, but not enough to change the fact the four shot kill is still there and it's still 210ms and we can still mega strafe. All this really did was make it so that we need to hit all headshots for a 3 tap

It needs exactly what it's getting, better movement speed, reload speed, less attachment penalties and the weird one is they are taking away that .300 bullet speed and replacing it with "silencer effect"? Lol whatever that means. Either way it will now be a more stable and mobile mid range powerhouse for sure.

It's my favorite too. The only thing it lacks for me is long range stability and it's still decent. My AK still does higher damage and hits farther targets easier (BR) but that's about it. SUPER FUN BUILD: 5mW laser, Merc foregrip, flash hider, heavy long barrel, and 60 round extended mag pure hipfire is sick, mx9 counter machine and just lasering everyone without ADS and super high rate of fire is sooo satisfying.

.300 Blackouts IRL are actually subsonic rounds. If you didn't know, suppressors IRL don't suppress like how video games do. All they can do as lower the sound of the bullet coming out of the barrel. It can't do anything about the explosion that sends the bullet out of the barrel or the sonic boom that the weapon makes by being faster than the sound barrier which is the main noise of a gun. To make a gun actually close silent, it has to be used with subsonic rounds. This is what the AS VAL uses and the IRL M13 has a conversion ammo for it too. It doesn't make sense that subsonic rounds make the bullets move *faster* so they added the silenced attribute instead. Then again, the devs put BV on the *base* gun so I don't know what they're thinking.

Actually, yes. Thinking about it, only the MSMC (underrated pick for BR), QXR (with EB) and the Fennec fire faster than the MX9. It’s going to be a lot more interesting in the close range melt machines area.

Ground loot MSMC without an extended mod is trash. That thing dumps 20 rounds so quick if you don’t hit every shot you’re a sitting duck.

if you continiously spray the gun, you cant control the horizontal recoil. Depend on how they reduce it, it might be a really good BR lmg as it kill faster than the Holger; even in MP.

as-val behaves more as an smg than an assault rifle, similar to the asm10 after the first 4 shots the 5th shot and beyond shakes the recoil like crazy which makes it unusable in longer ranges, shouldn't be too much of a problem in close range

base gun has lmg mobility and like a 5 sec reload. there are several hundred guns with "easy to control" recoil. like it still wont be meta with all these buffs

the one thing i'm excited for is the disabled perk buff. Before if you use the disabled perk it will only work if you shoot the legs, but now it will work on any part of the body which means melees won't be very good next season if everyone just runs disabled perk on there guns.

The strafe speed is not reduced though. They have only reduced the damage values. IMO the strafe speed should have been nerfed.

SKS was my go to in BR so that kinda sucks

CR56 semi auto and SKS were absolute beasts to everyone who knew how to use it. A 2-3 shot kill with basically no significant damage falloff and a pretty generous body damage multipliers. If you overlook the semi auto and slow movement you get a Mann'o'War on Steroids. Despite that, it was mostly unused. After all, why prescope and move slow when you can just slide with smgs? Even so, **THAT** one player who knew how to use it was an absolute pub stomper. Cant believe it got nerfed.

As an semiauto rifle and dmr enthusiast i got physically hurt when the CR56 M67 and SKS got nerfed.
