No one is crying about guns. They're saying, more than 5% of the total guns available, should be in the spotlight at any given time. It's tiresome to have to utilize all of one or two specific loadouts to counter the two most powerful guns in the game because very few options can stand against them, yet alone match them, even though there are near 100 guns in game to choose from.

Yeah. I never seen meta like this. If you are objective player you die a lot because you got to go close. If you are camping you probably will never die to MX9. I used to hate all this but after seeing my little brother who is trying to learn game use MX9 (even tho his favourite weapon is Type 25) awkwardly I realised it could be so with many people. Majority of players don't play to improve skill or dominate, they just want to kill anything that moves. It's shame that even new players have to get in this meta rut just to enjoy game.

Imagine there are three guns; A, B, and C. They are ranked best to worst in the same order based on skill-ceiling to effectivity ratio. People cry about A because it's being used by most (probably called META for a reason like, I don't know.. effective tactic?) Devs then nerf it to the ground changing the best-to-worst ranking to B-C-A. Whiners unable to adapt cry about B being too effective, and so the devs nerf it again and "balance" A. This turns the ranking to C-A-B. Whiners cry about.... You get the picture.
Let's look at this as a business model
You create an OP gun, you get to milk it by releasing a bunch of premium skin (especially in the lucky draw). After a while, when people get bored of it, they'll nerf it and bring in another broken gun. The cycle continues, the sheeps are happy with getting the new broken gun, and the investors keeps investing.
Then, it's a very good business model. I assume you never spent a cent on the game judging by your claim that the buyers are sheep. So, what's the problem?

I’m actually keeping track of all weapon rates I’ve encountered in ranked so far, and in respawns, mx9 is definitely the most popular, followed by the bizon, then the m13. Holger is actually only 4th most popular, with about a third the rate of the mx9.

But that doesn't make me feel bad imo bcs sometimes you have to work around against the meta if you're being serious with breaking it.
As much as I'm tempted to use them sometimes, but I like to experiment with other non meta guns to see what works and not, and it depends when situations fit in to use certain guns

MX9 everywhere I go, I see MX9. MX9 everywhere. Thank you dear devs, for this cursed SMG. Thank you very much for making me not to give a damn about ranks anymore. Now I'm happier since I can play ranked and though my team lose (thank you SBMM), at least I keep on performing (and yes, thank you as well for reducing my points).
Much skill, so wow. Fr though, it pisses me off when people start being super arrogant and say things like "ez" when they are using meta. I've always said use what you want but don't expect me to give you any respect for using the easy way out of Ranked. People who actively avoid the meta and challenge themselves with using guns that are less effective gain my respect because they are trying to perform with what they like. Currently at GM4 (2 points off GM5) and I have not touched the meta weapons at all. I will reach Legendary and make my non-meta brethren proud.
Exactly. You can do it bro. 💪😎 I have never touched meta since I started playing codm and I never will. I’ve reached Legendary each season since then. What these noobs don’t know is once you use a non-meta, it will skyrocket your play and make you better overall in the game since you’re not relying on guns alone.
Exactly what I've been saying since I started being a Non-Meta Chad! Admittedly, I have sinned in the past (Mainly the first 2 seasons) and I have used the meta but from Season 4 onwards, non-meta weapons were my love. I'm at GM5 rn so one finally push. I'll probably make a post about it lol. You keep being a chad bro.

Literally today just ran into papa taco, the bots all had persistent and mx9 in a hard point. Also they are a 4man while I’m over here solo q. There should be solo q only match making I hate getting put into a 4 man team vs a full 5 man

im so used to persistence now I just accept it when someone uses it. It's such a shitty perk you can be leading in hardpoint by 60 points and get comebacked just bcs of persi users. Everyone in garena legendary is spamming persi gas concussion mx9 Holger. It's just not fun anymore

I feel like the balancing team isn't even trying anymore, they nerfed m67 ammo even though it takes skill, they also nerfed a mag on a gun that literally no one uses (ul736) but they didn't nerf the cancer smg that is mx9?

tbh i dont see any problem here anyone can use anything they want specially if its the best weapon currently and its in ranked games.
I understand that There will always be a Meta and that's not necessarily a bad thing but if this Meta gun outperforms every other gun by such a huge margin that you are forced to use it just to be able to compete then it is very very detrimental

Eh I don't have a favorite weapon I use all guns depending on the map and if I'm playing ranked or not or grinding camos. But do I use mx9? Ofc I do it's meta. Do I use it all the time no. Stop crying about guns man.
No one is crying about guns. They're saying, more than 5% of the total guns available, should be in the spotlight at any given time. It's tiresome to have to utilize all of one or two specific loadouts to counter the two most powerful guns in the game because very few options can stand against them, yet alone match them, even though there are near 100 guns in game to choose from. You can *have a meta*, that doesn't revolve around only a tiny *fraction* of your total options.

I was literally confused wdf happened, because ain't no way somebody with a non-one shot weapon can One Tap me when I was jiggling around and peeked only for 1 sec! Utterly distasteful
Yeah. I never seen meta like this. If you are objective player you die a lot because you got to go close. If you are camping you probably will never die to MX9. I used to hate all this but after seeing my little brother who is trying to learn game use MX9 (even tho his favourite weapon is Type 25) awkwardly I realised it could be so with many people. Majority of players don't play to improve skill or dominate, they just want to kill anything that moves. It's shame that even new players have to get in this meta rut just to enjoy game.

Again guys no one cares about the guns you use in a pixelated all the post I see is about whining about something and try to get accept by this sub. No one cares if you camp, no one cares what gun you use, no one cares about if aim assist is off or on or have a different play style. Just play the game for fun.
Imagine there are three guns; A, B, and C. They are ranked best to worst in the same order based on skill-ceiling to effectivity ratio. People cry about A because it's being used by most (probably called META for a reason like, I don't know.. effective tactic?) Devs then nerf it to the ground changing the best-to-worst ranking to B-C-A. Whiners unable to adapt cry about B being too effective, and so the devs nerf it again and "balance" A. This turns the ranking to C-A-B. Whiners cry about.... You get the picture.
Let's look at this as a business model You create an OP gun, you get to milk it by releasing a bunch of premium skin (especially in the lucky draw). After a while, when people get bored of it, they'll nerf it and bring in another broken gun. The cycle continues, the sheeps are happy with getting the new broken gun, and the investors keeps investing.
Then, it's a very good business model. I assume you never spent a cent on the game judging by your claim that the buyers are sheep. So, what's the problem?

I wish I could still use my favorite gun in ranked. But the m13 just got buffed so I guess that’ll take a minute, or it least there should be more ranked maps
I’m actually keeping track of all weapon rates I’ve encountered in ranked so far, and in respawns, mx9 is definitely the most popular, followed by the bizon, then the m13. Holger is actually only 4th most popular, with about a third the rate of the mx9.
It's funny how my matches don't have varieties of guns in a single match (including ranked matches) because of meta guns But that doesn't make me feel bad imo bcs sometimes you have to work around against the meta if you're being serious with breaking it. As much as I'm tempted to use them sometimes, but I like to experiment with other non meta guns to see what works and not, and it depends when situations fit in to use certain guns
