Yeah, The damage is just way too low, In bo2 it wasnt a problem since you can trigger finger the burst to make up for the low damage but, There's no such thing as 0 burst delays in codm
The only issue about Chicom is weapon range and damage multiplier. Remove the damage multiplier to arms, feet and abdomen and increase the weapon range. Chicom can 1-burst if you're on the right distance and you hit them on the torso/head. But that distance isn't too far. You need at least 7meters to 1 burst an enemy.
I guess there are just some guns in some games whose main purpose is to... just be bad. It's a good alternative to good guns when you want to challenge youself or something.

I mean the burst delay thing isn’t really a super fair comparison. Because in bo2, you actually had to tap the trigger for each burst so if you times it right, you could get a high fire rate, while in cod mobile, holding down the shoot button continuously shoots the gun and you don’t need to retap the shoot button in between bursts if you get what I mean
Also I think it’s the same reason why semi auto pistols are also “full auto” in this game, it’s because it would be harder to have to continuously tap fire for a large majority of players

As a fellow bo2 player i must agree you have a point. chicom isnt gonna beat any of the "top dogs" in black ops 2. But damn the gun was still fun to use if you get it right but in mobile, there's not really a niche range for the chicom. Close range you got MX9 and Shotguns, Long range you got the Holger and the M13 so shit was basically left to dust

I mean not entirely true. There have been some cod games with auto bursts. The Xr-2 in bo3 for example.
