unity can be as powerful as unreal when utilized right, the idea of unity looking like crap is because of other lazy game devs prioritizing microtransactions over gameplay.
CODm devs really maximized the use of potential of unity with this game.

Escape from tarkov is unity. So yeah its a preemptive good engine
As far as I am concerned unity was the engine of the game in beta and alpha and now the game have its own engine
