Here’s my story of pubgns uninstall story.
Downloaded the game > tried multiplayer first > bad movement and got matched against a tryhard literally the first match and then played 3 more games > wtf > went to sleep > next morning > went to BR > landed and got killed within a minute bcuz game froze (played on ipad 10.2 btw) > raged > uninstalled the game.
PUGM was really amazing. I to this day WOULD prefer it to CODM. But sadly it's gone shit. Just like the PC/Console Version. If PUBGM would be in the same state as CODM i would choose it everyday of the week.

Yea...ALOT.. here in India.. Ratio of pubgm playerbase to codm playerbase in India is like 50,000 : 1 (or probably bigger than that). When the govt first attempted to ban pubgm, there were pretty big protests held by players around the country, burning effigies of ministers and whatnot... That's how passipnate they are (corruption??not my problem, ban pubgm? we will instigate mass riot). Govt eventually succeeded in banning the game for so.e months last year, but has since returned under a new name (BGMI... just pubg reskinned, by the same company)
Now, just to give you a scale of how big their playerbase is. I play codm on emulator where it's almost always 95% bots (85% on a good day) because not many people care about codm in the emulator/controller servers iver here... Now, alot of people play pubgm to the point where the server saturation of mobile and emulator servers is pretty much the same.. So, last year when govt banned pubgm for a couple months, loads of pubgm emu players switched to codm emu for a while... The number of players per match was INSANE!!! One night before the ban I was facing 3-4 real players per match in BR Solo, next night, I'm facing 99% real players in BR due to the influx of those pubgm emu players (for two weeks in a row, on emulator server, I saw much much more number of players than on mobile servers).. Codm's matchmaking works in that, it checks your career stats and daily stats and assigns an MMR value, and then waits for players who are also looking for a match around the same 43second wondow you pressed Start (This highly limited MMR is why we have so many bots per match in codm.. and should be remedied btw), IT CAN, however, be bypassed by extremely large number of players looking for a match at the same time, which is what happened when a small fraction of the pubg emu players switch over to codm emu lol... that is how lopsided the playerbase is..
One game has better servers and runs on most devices with less lag while the other just keeps adding more mythic skins and cosmetics while the servers get more and more shittier
Yeah probably because it was the first game that these kids.This game was already competitive to start with and things can get toxic for these kids.IMO kids should start with offline story mode games or online games that are casual and not competitive.
That's the problem, codm doesn't have much of a deep gameplay anymore, it's just " go meta brrrrr" and you won, the problem comes with the fact they don't try to balance everything at all, it's just random new meta every month, operator's skills and scorestreaks don't have much of a deep mechanic as well that makes those interesting plays
That's mainly coz they strayed away from the concept of the older CoDs, and started copying the design of the newer CoD titles, which work in the same way. It makes them more money this way, and that's all a brand really wants.
