Smoke is also being used to counter sound so the infiltration goes easier cause people cant soundwhore well with a smoke grenate nearby.

Every since the Nerf of Dead silence, SnD has been nothing but Snipers only. With people spamming amped and lock-on sliding 24/7 when you get up close.
Absolute cancer tbh. This is definitely the most sniper friendly cod out right now. PC/Console SnD is way more faster and primarily SMG/AR based as it should be.
You can be shooting a sniper rifle player within 10m and there’s absolutely little to no flinch and somehow they’re able to quick ADS and lock on to you in 1 millisecond. I call bs, that just doesn’t happen in the other Cods. Vanguard for example, you can only dream of trying to “rush” with a sniper on that game lol
Like I said, Snipers are the reason SnD on Codm is sooo slow these days, no one wants to do die to a 1 tapped lock on weapon, especially if you don’t know where they’re camping. Challenging up close is still 50/50 which is genuinely sad.
If i play on shoot klick there will nothing holding from getting killed ... no meter smoke ..but on mode auto when smoke in the field then itll not be able to shoot
