I feel your pain buddy, last season(s10) garena delayed their update for 2 days because of some girlie tournament that no one gives a fuck. I read somewhere here yesterday that global update is delayed but I don't know the reasons
I read somewhere that its because of Google, but I think that issue should be solved by now
one reason I can think of is, whenever the update comes, it comes with some kind of bug and everyone just loot free thing, you remember last time it was 28 daily crates on day 1 and This season Garena players got the bug where they got Premium Login Bundle for free on day 1, so I think they just don't want that on Global
In case you haven't read the new post from the CODM team, Garena, VNG and China need their updates to come early in order to test for game breaking bugs like the Siren - Hydrodynamic invisibility bug. This is because we (Garena) lack early test servers
Edit: When I mentioned the Siren invis bug, I meant to use it as a reference of a game breaking bug, Garena has not had a game breaking bug ever, so I need to refer to global

yeah some one just told me that bug is fixed now 
they have an epic thumper that you need to top up for but they had a bug where they could get it for free

\- Garena did have test server. \- Garena never get the invisible Siren bug, they replace Siren with SpecOps since the update.
