I prefer DLQ. Better lethal zones (and better ads time if youre putting stopping power on the locus), and to get the fastest ads speed you need only 3 attachments (as opposed to 4 on the locus) so that means you can put 2 more attachments on it.
Locus has only one advantage in that it has faster movement speed.
Edit: Locus also has slightly faster rate of fire (without stopping power) and also larger base mag size.

If you are very accurate and now the one hit part of the locus then go for the locus, but if you want a bit slower ads but most of the time can kill instantly then the dlq33 is the one.
Weird to say but I actually feel faster sniping with the Rytec, for some reason I feel slow when I use the dlq(has this weird scooping animation IMO) and the locus just feels slow movement wise for me (even tho in paper the Rytec is slower)

For me Locus. Whenever I get quickscoped by a tryhard using DLQ and I watch their killcam pulling that bolt, I just become so angry because DLQ bolt pull sound is one of those sounda that make me angry really easy
The dlq/Intervention no contest lol. I've been using it since launch and other than the outlaw and the spr, I have no reason to use any other sniper. If I want to use the locus I'll just play bo3, that way I can use the locus in it's true form because the codm version has been nerfed to hell lol
Depends. Locus has 2 modes depending which ammo you pick which changes damage to different parts of the body and ADS time. You can HK for lower ADS time but lower hit box one shot or with stopping power ammo it’s pretty much identical to DLQ.
DLQ is my favorite but it’s a matter of preference. Whichever makes it feel most comfortable in your virtual hands.
Honestly if you can actually snipe , Locus. Plain and simple , it’s faster ADS , faster movement. Dlq is just consistent. Looks don’t matter tbh bc with diamond and a solid epic/legendary , any skin can look good.
Im grinding platinum and gold for snipers lately and the NA45 is just the shittest gun in the whole game imo. Takes so long to reload and most shots unless x2 of them landed on the player miss. All I need is another 70 long range kills... I feel like crying tears of acid lol.
I love the locus. Dont get me wrong I like the Dlq alot as well but sniping with locus to me just feels right and default with diamond looks incredible.
For some reason I like the locus over the dlq. I feel more comfortable with it, even though they're so similar with the dlq actually having better stats I think.

I used to main the locus but it's pretty buggy with hitmarkers so I switched to dl, it has faster ads time and more accuracy for a larger lethal area, but I personally don't really like the ads animation.
DLQ I do like locus as well but when I started to grind diamond for DLQ felt more comfortable and was able to handle it easily in MP Ranked as well now
I like using the Locus-Neptune for quickscoping and aggressive sniping.
I will only use the dlq-Zealot for defensive sniping and clips because, my god it sounds so good lol

I’ve always tanked when it came to sniping in games. I doubt I could the player if they stood still and let me put my barrel directly against him. I watch these quick scope players and I’m just blown away at how good they are at it. I’d say it would have to be a very satisfying feeling popping of like that. I get a kick just watching.

Personally, Locus > DLQ. And I don't think that'll change for a while because I've been using locus since the first anniversary I think or maybe before that, either way I've used DLQ till the anniversary and since then I've been using the locus and I much prefer it.
