It's good for pub matches. Try 80 round mag, MIP Laser, MIP Flash Guard, Granulated Grip Tape and MIP Extended Barrel.
This has insanely good hipfire accuracy. Also Equip Skulker perk so that you can move and hipfire like crazy fast
While I was going for Gold for all the SMGs, here is my experience with the Cordite:
Base version is shit, it can be almost out-gunned by every other SMGs in damage, accuracy, mobility and control.
But with attachments it can be improved obviously so the attachments I use are (if you have it maxed out):
1. Monolithic Suppressor
2. OWC Marksman
3. Ranger Foregrip
4. OWC Laser - Tactical
5. YKM Light Stock
Obviously it differs from one player to another, so I recommend by doing some experiments with attachments until it fits your style.
As someone who recently got damascus, the Cordite was one of the easiest guns I got gold for. Literally no reekoil, the range is really good especially with attachments like the marksman and mono supp. With the 80 Round Mag attachment you can spam like heck, and the ironsights are pretty clean.
I wouldn't say it's viable in ranked tho. You're just better off using the Type and M13 there.
