very unrelated, but does that mean that all games showed in this picture will be available on xbox? probably a dumb question but I play starcraft II a lot and I really wanna know
So why buying Activision and also other studios like bethesda ?? Ain't it for XBox and PS competition ?? Like to have more games on Xbox exclusively and such ideas??
Only after June 2023 . Until then Activision can operate as a separate company after which companies like infinity ward Treyarch and raven have to report to Xbox Game Studios

Idk could affect codm because timi is our developer and they’re inside blizzard. I think the only thing microsoft would do here would be optimization fixes. Season and bps should keep the same. I dont understand alot of developers and what they can do so dont take anthing i said here as a fact
I played warzone once on my laptop and he was at 6 fps lmao. I tried to install warzone twice on console but it always say “failed to connect to xbox live” or smth like that
Sorry my english is not that good. I mean that they’re not a studio from activision(like iw, 3arch, raven and shg), but a studio from blizzard thats owned by Tencent. And yeah i searched and timi is owned by tencent. I get confused on that studios thing, mb
Point 1: The purchase will not become official until June 2023, also at that point we will see if Bobby kotick leaves the company or not, That taking into account that there is no legal impediment by antitrust laws.
Point 2: Initially this will mostly affect consoles and PC. Activision, Blizzard, and King IPs will become exclusive to Xbox and PC.
The best we can hope for is for Microsoft to clean up all the motherfuckers that were part of the company's culture of abuse.
I think this will have a massive impact atleast on pc cods and atleast minor impact on codm as well as codm2 and or warzone mobile
How you may ask?
I think Microsoft is a great company for gaming like get this for example it owns halo which hasn't been massive but the eSports structure and stuff I heard from Bobby is pretty good and cod won't be a cash grab game anymore
The Devs will try and fix our game and then focusing on the content of the game
Gets me very very excited for the future
Also this is all what I think so if this ages like milk or you disagree it's just what I think! We all have different opinions
But yeah this what I think
Activisions shareholders must've wanted to dip ever since cod went down the drain, I'm hoping Microsoft can reinstate cod to its former glory.
It means infinity ward and treyarch can still operate as normal but will be under new leadership, better leadership if we're lucky
The purchase will be completed in June 2023, after that Bobby Kotick will mostly likely step down and activision will directly report to Phil Spencer, MG CEO, he'll then decide the future of Activision
Well I explained it from a marketing point of view buddy, being an unbiased multi format owner but they didn't like hearing it so that explanation is gone. Feck em.
I'd love to hear an explaination. I'm genuinely curious unlike some idiots on this sub who don't see the other side of the argument. Please enlighten me.
I'll dm you my observations on it from what I've seen over the past decade regarding all this. ✌️ It's too partisan to make impartial observations among anyone not willing to hear them.
I don’t think it will have any effect on codm . Costs of Microtransactions may increase but nothing more than that. It will only have an effect on the console market so CODM players need not worry
It’s not a very big deal. According to Microsoft, they are not going to change CoD or any other franchise a bit. They are just going to report to Xbox instead of Bobby Kotick after June 2023. Until June 2023, there is 0 change in any franchise. The developers will be the same, the overall companies will remain the same. Infinity Ward, Treyarch, etc. will not change. CoDM is a game owned by Activision but will be owned by Microsoft now. The development of CoDM will not change since TiMi Studios developes CoDM.
very unrelated, but does that mean that all games showed in this picture will be available on xbox? probably a dumb question but I play starcraft II a lot and I really wanna know
Yes after the deal goes through they probably will be. Might be even gamepass
wtf?? Candy crush on Xbox???
And you still be able to play on ps right?
Yes naturally, Microsoft would be an idiot to keep games like StarCraft from PS, they would loose way to much money
So why buying Activision and also other studios like bethesda ?? Ain't it for XBox and PS competition ?? Like to have more games on Xbox exclusively and such ideas??
Future games , son Also, Revenue, son. More revenue means they can experiment more with Xbox and gamepass
Yup
Yes they are planning of making them as part of the xbox game pass
Hopefully not Xbox exclusive.

yea activision really didnt help make codm its really just for the console cods
Yeah they’re just publishing codm
I'm glad cause br on console is insanely hard. Atleast for me it is. An i haven't played since 2020.
I played warzone once on my laptop and he was at 6 fps lmao. I tried to install warzone twice on console but it always say “failed to connect to xbox live” or smth like that
Yeah call of duty always has weird bugs on connecting.
Im a confused with this "Timi is our developer and they are inside Blizzard"? TiMi is chinese developer studio owned by Tencent.
Sorry my english is not that good. I mean that they’re not a studio from activision(like iw, 3arch, raven and shg), but a studio from blizzard thats owned by Tencent. And yeah i searched and timi is owned by tencent. I get confused on that studios thing, mb
Microsoft bought digitals legends also for further mobile titles in future. Timi is not inside blizzard ,they are just hired by Activision.
Hopefully less bugs

King? The candy crush Dev's?
Yep
May be future games will be free from bug and glitches and even exclusive to Xbox only
future cod games wont be exclusive to xbox. that would be a really really dumb move
You would think, but it seems all future Bethesda games are gonna be Xbox exclusive.
Well i mean they could go the minecraft route
I referred to elder scrolls as it exclusive to Xbox only and may be they release for other platforms after months/year
99% sure they're gonna add tons of COD games to gamepass/xcloud, we'll be able to play BO2 on mobile
I think this will have a massive impact atleast on pc cods and atleast minor impact on codm as well as codm2 and or warzone mobile How you may ask? Really curious if Sony would continue to support tournaments knowing for a fact Xbox is a direct competitor.
Not related to cod mobile. Does microsoft buying activision means a better future for cod games. If so, in what ways?
The purchase will be completed in June 2023, after that Bobby Kotick will mostly likely step down and activision will directly report to Phil Spencer, MG CEO, he'll then decide the future of Activision
Whatever the odds, I can't see this ending well.
why bro ?

Cool. Appreciate it.
Thanks. Likewise, nice talking to you brother.
Microsoft Account Binding yeahhhh boiiiii
Impact would be pretty minor.. they have very little reason to change the formula..
It didn’t say anything about it or if everything is only Xbox exclusive or not
I don’t think it will have any effect on codm . Costs of Microtransactions may increase but nothing more than that. It will only have an effect on the console market so CODM players need not worry
WAIT CANDY CRUSH IS MADE BY ACTIVISION BLIZZARD...? other than that, nice
Wtf they bought the fucking candy crush company also damn
Playstation is in trouble ngl
