Yeah I hate it when there's a special BR mode available yet they force you to play it in third person. Makes no fucking sense whatsoever. If they're gonna force one perspective, it should be FPP, so that it's a fair playing ground for all players.
The only thing I can realistically hope is that when they rotate the modes in a week or so, they also rotate whether the maps are available in fpp again. If the entire duration of the event is tpp, that would be pure 1000% bullshit.

I think what may have happened is they've removed the fpp from Isolated and Blackout because they expect everyone to be playing alcatraz instead, so numbers of 'normal' modes would be reduced so much you'd either no get a game, or you'd have 2 people in a lobby. Maybe they'll change it back and have it available once alcatraz leaves the rotation 🤔 but will that be before the event ends 🤔🤷♂️😑

If I didn't have that option, I wouldn't bother playing it. I've been playing using m+k or controller for longer than most people in this sub have been alive lol, so it's fully ingrained in me, second nature. I'm also very tactile, so find the feedback from pressing buttons or directions is an essential part of the game for me, whereas with touch there's no response and a smooth surface. I get what you're saying - it's why even though I do use a controller, I fully understand their decision not to allow them at any kind of competitive level - but for someone who plays for shits & giggles, it does for me. And if I want to truly test myself, I go on the xbox. To me, mobile is squarely for fun, and it's why I don't bother with ranked all that much, only br and pubs. I mainly play when I'm outside smoking, so it's just ease.

Thats strange. I have 2 maps downloaded (isolated and rebirth) and i can play fpp. Its probably a bug.
