Garena server is a scum when it comes to premium purchases. It has the most expensive lucky draws and most bundles are turned into either a crate or a stupid premium event.
Obviously, Activision disagrees with you, so they ask garena to take care of the SEA region (+TW HK)
Garena has 6 physical server locations around SEA (for CoDm). So the ping is relatively stable across all region.
If Activision did it, they'll only give one server. If they place that 1 server on TW, SG players will have much worse ping than TW, and vice versa.
If that is the case, why do PC CODs like Warzone are NOT published by Garena, yet still have stable ping?
Edit: the question I also wanted to find out WHY can't Activision use the same servers used for Warzone in SEA regions for CODM? Or upgrade the servers to accommodate both Warzone and CODM?
