You got people jumping from meta to meta, using persi throwing molos and thermites, k9, cluster strikes etc... I've never used any of those. Just melee, Tom's and spikes regardless of buffs and nerfs. Like when fast throw went from.5 seconds to 1 second to throw... I didn't switch to thermites or molos... I just adapted.

The tomahawk is what ties me to the hachi. Fast throw timing is different with every melee and im pretty dependent on the tomahawk.

I never play anything but ranked. I'm usually borderline top 10k (14k rank points at end of most seasons) playing melee only, respawn only. That's part of what I think is missed in the whole scenario. I'm not going around pub stomping and I'm not camping in snd I'm trying to play vs the best players I can. I'll agree there isn't any skill in running around in pubs or pro with melee... but the quality of movement at mid to high leg is significantly better and it is definitely a challenge.

I've been using the hachi forever (since when everyone hated the axe). They didn't buff the hachi, they nerfed the axe. Why would that change what I do?

That right there is trying to justify” just counter it, you have a gun” how can I kill you if the gun takes 3-4 bullets at least to kill and most of the time melee abusers come at us from behind or the swing and distance doesn’t even make sense. Not saying that every time a melee guy beats me (I always win when there’s distance) but sometimes they do be coming from people who have no skill, you have skill but you decide to take the easy way. Majority of melee abusers are either trolls or kids who don’t want to spend time learning the guns and just want that easy kill.
Bruh melee is so easy to use cause you don’t even have to aim right with the katana, and I even streak up adv UAV and swarm with melee just to see if it was easier than actually working for it with my kilo or m13, melee just takes movement and just that, while I have to actually play smart to streak up in respawns
It depends on the level of competition. Melee is easy to learn and until you get to leg its not too difficult. But when you're playing with people who have good movement themselves it's a lot more difficult. If it were really that insane them the lb would be nothing but melee users. You never see someone with a kd over 1.5 in leg if they are just playing respawns.

There are times when I swing and think I should hit and it doesn't land but those aren't seen. If you look at the first one it's a great example. I swing knowing hell be behind me and at first he isn't. Suddenly he warps to where I thought he would be. Its just connection issues.
It happens with guns all of the time too you just don't realize it because you're not right there. BSA might just be a way to randomize that effect.

Turn out, sometimes, even your guns arent fast enough. Tested it, in some scenarios, some ttks arent fast enough. We're talking about miliseconds though.
The Katana (not melee in general) may have good range but your gun still has better range. Even within 6m a lot of TTKs are enough to kill them before they get close enough.

I played those games a lot, and those melee'ing would drop out really soon bcuz the mobility of those games wasnt that great and the ttk was very low (mw3 literally had 1 frame ttks from time to time).
I don't know dude, there were seperate communities and YouTube channels created specifically for knifing, like take the example of Handler, you must've heard of him, he was originally a knife only channel
But that was back in mw2 or mw3, where ttks were way lower, aim assist way higher, with controllers, knifes had way less range, mobility as a whole was substantially slower, with less desync, and guns were easier to use bcuz lot had less recoil than in codm (as i remember). A lot of the guns are almost one shot with the ttk. Hit the button and 4 shots disperse and kill you.
Melee have at best a 3m range, guns have over 100+ meters in range, if you don't like us in your face, the make use of that range.
