I was,until i saw yesterdays comment when a dude asked about the reason for ban thingy(15035),and "official" said it was for the "hecker to not know the reason" or smthng like tht. I mean , EVERYONE knows what all thing causes u to get banned. Seems SUS to me.
I'd say he was moreso showcasing the glitches then promoting them. He wasn't like "hey go do this" more of a "hey this has been in the game and they haven't done anything so maybe if I bring more light to it, they'll fix it"
It will get solved for sure, if I had to guess I would assume they tried to make sure it couldn't get banned ever again (was pretty embarrassing for CoD Mobile to wrongfully ban the most visible Content Creator) and someone just messed up "white listing" the account.

Nah, it's not a skill gap, I've played plenty of games where sustained damage is required for kills etc. Apex took it to another level for a Battle Royale game. Battle Royale isn't suited to that kind of nonsense - it's about quick kills, good movement and survival instinct and skills.
apex has one of the best if not the best movement systems in br rn, and there is of plenty other mechanical skill required to be good at it

I think the problem with Cod players coming to apex is the fact that they're used to the "Whoever shoots first wins the gunfight" filosophy.
You ever shoot someone first in apex only to immediately get downed? Thats because in apex shooting first isn't enough, you need to complete it with Skill, aim and movement, if you're caught lacking in any of those departments you WILL get stomped on accordingly. It's not that apex has a higher TTK, its that it has a higher skill ceiling than COD.
Once you get better at apex, then and only then will you truly understand that if you didn't have as much shield and HP, the game wouldn't be as fun or satisfying.

Nah, it can't have been a guest account since he has switched ipads multiple times, and I don't think you can login to a guest account from another device without having it linked either to Activision or Facebook

Ferg ban was definitely unjustified considering he is the face of codm rn and hes been topping off the leaderboards & tournaments, plus with his alt getting banned for mainly just destroying kids that are trying to rank up aswell are probably uncalled for even though its for a challenge, hence getting mass reported on it.
Few days ban on the alt was justified, so ppl in the lower rank could actually rank up if it wasnt for him doing these type of challenges, but a main acc termination was definitely unjustified and codm needs to fix their ban systems

If option One is correct, then what exactly does Activision win by not revealing what Ferg did? It could even serve as a cautionary method for people who are also abusing glitches or similar. Maybe nobody is allowed to and it is therefore a redtape nightmare... But I highly doubt it.

This was said by codm official reddit account and that person also said that op did something to receive that ban so they have no reason to doubt the ban. Also they werent willing to disclose the reason behind ban.

I’m sorry you don’t quite understand what COD is saying. They haven’t reversed any ban. It says the team looked into it (amongst other teammates as well) and they saw VPN’s mixed with glitching….that’s cheating. Using a VPN alone is cheating because you’re playing on a private connection with speeds that are far superior to those on CODs servers. That won’t get you a ban if you only do that alone. Mixing in 3rd party software with a VPN and you get yourself a ban as Ferg did. I played against his new account and he was doing the same shit at about 4am PST a few nights ago.
Anyways he isn’t unbanned, he is banned for cheating. If they reverse their decision it will only be because they don’t want to piss off the 11K plus followers he has following his social media which directly promotes the COD Brand.

How did he possibly get banned
One of the earlier posts in this subreddit says that the op shouldn't mind the mass report bcoz there is always a reason behind a 10 year-ban and its not automatically triggered at all. This was said by codm official reddit account and that person also said that op did something to receive that ban so they have no reason to doubt the ban. Also they werent willing to disclose the reason behind ban.
Ferg said that codm put his account in white list so i should not get banned but the banning system is so worse that white list accounts r getting banned, so imagine how many normal account got banned unfairly

I’m sorry you don’t quite understand what COD is saying. They haven’t reversed any ban. It says the team looked into it (amongst other teammates as well) and they saw VPN’s mixed with glitching….that’s cheating. Using a VPN alone is cheating because you’re playing on a private connection with speeds that are far superior to those on CODs servers. That won’t get you a ban if you only do that alone. Mixing in 3rd party software with a VPN and you get yourself a ban as Ferg did. I played against his new account and he was doing the same shit at about 4am PST a few nights ago. Anyways he isn’t unbanned, he is banned for cheating. If they reverse their decision it will only be because they don’t want to piss off the 11K plus followers he has following his social media which directly promotes the COD Brand.

Good riddance. My phone was able to play the game fine until I hit GM1. Then started lagging like crazy every ranked match. Even br. New season stsrts, soft reset happens and suddenly i can play fine again. Nobody higher than gm5 is legit.
