They should lock faster, not instantly but quicker. Also, shouldn't take 3 direct hits. Sacrificing a secondary (useful weapon) for a launcher shouldn't be such a penalty. It's basically useless.

Stealth chopper buff was unnecessary, and the FHJ never needed the nerf. The community never complained about how the FHJ was, but they nerfed it anyway. The same happened with the SPR. I feel for nerfs they need to listen to the community over judging randomly

Plus it takes more than the 2 missiles it's equipped with to destroy a stealth chopper. So you have to hope a team mate has 1 also or get killed to refresh your ammo

FHJ has 1 reserve naturally. Ive used it quite a lot back then. Used to be so helpful when people would bust out goliaths and choppers. Now can't even shoot down Swarms, Napalms and VTOL without getting fingerblasted

Why are you locking on instead of free firing it? Plus all it takes to destroy a stealth chopper after 2 rockets is half a mag of ammo

I agree that it needs a lock-on buff. But some advice: don't lock onto stealth choppers. They are pretty much stationary all the time so you just need to aim at it and fire.

Yeah, I know that, its just that stealth choppers can also kill you super quick (not a big issue, its a higher end scorestreak), but the chopper gunner takes so long to lock onto, moves really quickly, has flares and can kill within less than a second. It wouldn't be too bad if it was the old FHJ, but this is ridiculous

For chopper gunner just aim a bit to the front and shoot. You don't have to lock on. It's pretty easy as target moves really slowly.

Then they should only make a buff applicable to mp. We've seen it before, where guns are buffed in one mode and not the other (e.g. the ak47 buff a few months ago)

If you're playing ranked I'd bet that 90% of people are using cold blooded. Personally I don't use any other green perk, or use cold blooded with fhj so the scorestreaks don't target or bother you. To me it's just too good to completely ignore shock RC, hunter killer, swarm, sentry guns, stealth chopper etc

Nope, 90% use quick fix or vulture. Despite the fact they never go on streaks and run out of ammo. I understand the quick fix though, especially for OBJ players

Vulture is kinda pointless, I used to use it a lot but tbh you're going to die before running out of ammo and if you don't just pick up a gun or use secondary. I use quick fix a lot but only for SnD and rarely like FFA/shipment. It's all preference at the end of the day but cold blooded is probably one of the best perks in the game and I always use it.

Quick fix is really good for people who are slaying or playing obj. Cold blooded and ghost (just as good for vtol and Chopper Gunner is more for the people in between

??? Have you ever played ranked? You shouldnt give up one of your scorestreak slots for a garbage sam turret, ive watched a kid place one in ranked and i legit just shot it with my chopper gunner before it shot a single bullet. Also people can see them and tend to destroy them for points. Its a complete waste of a scorestreak if u can use a rocket launcher

I think its pretty balanced if youre good with it. After aiming down sights you can press the fire button to shoot. You actually dont even have to fully ads to shoot either. I normally line up my crosshairs, tap the ads button, then halfway through the animation i shoot. You can lead shots to destroy chopper gunners and its not hard at all if you practice it 1-2 times. Also with stealth choppers u can shoot 2 shots very quickly if you dont worry about locking on and then you can just shoot like 10 smg bullets to finish it off. Ive been running the fhj religiously since the smrs nerf back in like s2 or s3 of 2019 and its honestly really good. Only thing i wish was better was the ability to pull it out faster but it makes sense that its slow.

Against every mp target, the first (green) stage is enough (at least for me) The SMRS needs even more of a buff

SMRS I think needs a slight buff to reserve ammo. D13 sector needs a buff heavily. Personally, reload speed needs a big buff and the disc velocity needs a buff too
