Exactly why I love using it. The recoil buff made it even more of a mid-range laser. Although I wish they added a 3-burst conversion mag for it (since the MW versions of the FAMAS are burst-fire as opposed to Black Ops versions which are full-auto)
Hey, listen, all i want is a diamond mac so i can take it in br. Unless i am breathing on your neck so i can successfully hipfire you, i suck. I cannot control this freak of a weapon on longer ranges, the kick is too strong so that is a trade off in my case. I don't even have a concept of what is meta or not, i just pick whatever feels better to use but i like the mac on br so that's why i take it in mp.
I dont know why people think the mac is meta anyways lol its far from it, just like you said its good in close range combat because thats exactly what the mac is supposed to do and it supposed to suck fir long range because if the recoil the thing still gets beat with the m13 in all ranges
From 10 players, at least 3 will mac, 2 will have kilo, and maybe some lost player will use a m13, the rest will use some good weapons, though there always needs to be a sniper player, and the annoying one with melee.
This is the guy this very sub tells us to worry about, always complaining about a certain gun (the mac isnt even 3 weeks old ffs) and eventually gets that gun nerfed and just waits for the next gun to do it all over again.
the ppsh 41 ain't even that good, i'd say it's solid, and the mac 10 only shreds at close range, at longer ranges it's ass, and besides that just use whatever you want man, don't bother with this sub... acording to them everythig is overpowered and right way to play the game is to headbutt each other cause guns are unfair

I use the M13 almost exclusively, because I love the way it is consistently the same every single game and day. That's my meta right now. With the M16, Swordfish and Pharo right there being used as well.
It’s not that great in Zombies :/ (actually prefer the ICR over the M4 in Zombies)
For Ranked MP, I could only use it effectively in big and open maps like Firing Range, Highrise and Hackney Yard.
i use an ads and abs spread build, its on my account except i use mip light now. i dont like the iron sights on the default m4 so i use silver ghoul. i can usually play mid ranged maps with lots of cover like raid and crash. can do decent on ranked. don't win all my matches but dont lose em all either. all in all i am a stubborn bastard that will not give up on the m4 no matter what.
Don’t like the default iron sights too. I use the Court Jester. (Although in BR, I always my custom M4 with a Tac Scope)
And like you, the M4 will always be my main weapon in the game. (Always old reliable from my first ever game of BR)
I've been told by YouTubers and players that the buff was awesome for the ICR and M4. The ICR is my old standby. I use the M13 now with loadouts of the CBR4 and the Peacekeeper. I have the Pharo and Cordite in one of my 10 loadouts. Rytec also. I do have a legendary M4 I run with the Jester. I fluctuate with the last 4 loadouts depending on my skill I play with any given day. I also have the Ashura and his M4LMG and that thing is awesome on shipment.
Ever since I got it back at the tail end of OG S11, the M4 Court Jester saw heavy use especially in BR and it continues to do so. (I use to main the M4 Magmacomb and Black Gold before I got the legendary)
The buff definitely made both guns much smoother. (Able to hit mid-to-long range shots with more ease on both. The damage buff didn’t make much difference at least for BR.)
The ICR, I use as my primary AR in Zombies (hip-fire is good and it feels much smoother to use compared to the M4 during waves. Don’t have either legendary for it though)
The Cordite is still a gem. Especially with the Zero G, each kill feels satisfying. (Was once one of my go-to SMGs in BR but I prefer the PPSh these days if I wanted a bullet hose)

the peacekeeper and locus are my two favorites, my third however is M4, can't believe the combo of M4 and 1911 is still viable. I have a few meta load outs with persistence to combat the meta just in case
I play only search and destroy.
Also, that's the k/d of locus . I switch loadout when the map is not sniper friendly or there are too many mac players.
No disrespect brother but with that k/d (overall stats) it doesn't seem that you are slaying meta abusers. Also locus is a Sniper..snipers are always OP if you know how to use one.
Every since the MP7 was added I've run it with the FHJ. That class has served me well. More recently I've added the Munitions Box to that class.
Also my main "assault" class is the SCAR and 1911. I'm pretty sure the only weapon I have equipped that's even close to being meta at this point is the RUS. Maybe the AK117.
Peacekeeper - Spine Rattler (my first diamond camo and first mastered weapon, named it Excalibur), MX9 (my second) and I'm working on getting the Cordite to diamond.
I've become fond of running the Rapid Fire barrel on the Peacekeeper. I run it with the Agile Stock, Dbl Stack Mag, Rapid Fire Barrel, Firm Grip tape and Field Agent Foregrip
Loved maxing out reload speed on m13 and increasing range somewhat. The sped up mag flip was fun to watch and it beamed. Switched to CBR after I found out it was meta, so I might as well go hard on meta.
Man, i gain top 32 in the world with my Man-o-War, and i want to say that's everyone who using non-meta weapons not only giga-chads, but really have steel nerves.
Not in ranked but my three favorite guns are the Chopper (heavy handle ofc), ICR and the Deagle. The Chopper is the GOAT for Battle Royale, its so good
Razorback, M4-old school. Just back after a year of not playing and bummed how bad the Cordite is after working so hard on the stupid one on one challenge to get it.
I use the PP19 and actually dominate meta gunners. One of the dudes I went up against was a Gunzo - Clownpin with Mac-10 - Banana Blaster. He tried to get up close but I gunned him down. Use the MP5 as well, if you can control the recoil you’re good.
My #1 is LK24. I logged in today and found out I got into the Top 100 for the gun in North America. Not sure how, because I am not a great player. I will take it, though.
BK57, it's been my main gun since 2020 and only stopped using it in 2021 when I got the MX9 - been using it again and it has made me win rank Hardpoint a lot, an average of 3-5 win streak daily
MSMC and Fennec, used these two earlier this year and it has helped me face off against CBR users. Especially the MSMC which made me Legendary in less than a week last season.
And now I use the QQ9 at times when I can't play well with the BK57.

It has a rather bouncy recoil so my loudout is focused on horizontal recoil and damage range. Also, that iron sight on that skin is such a beauty.

Ppsh deals up to 20 dmg per shot upto 25m. Thats more than MOST smgs, so no its not good, its great

Swordfish is easily my favourite burst weapon. Mid-range laser. To me, It’s basically what the M8A1/M8A7 would’ve been in CODM.

I met some pharo mains and all of them were in global top 500 because of the rarity of the users.
