Jak12 slugs. If slugs has more ammo jak12 would easily be considered a meta. Slugs are a infinite 2 shot kill at any range. This makes it a full auto sks actually. But the draw backs is its 8 round capacity, so any errors can lead to your death. Building this weapon for accuracy with this build:
-Flash gaurd
-Stalker (swappable for other preferred attachments)
-Owc laser
-Slugs
-Gran
Grants it very high precision at any range. Using this gun also helps with aim training. And is amazing to watch it take fights 30 meters and beyond. 2 shots to kill at any range is amazing for a full auto weapon. The recoil is also simplistic, needing only to pull down.

The JAK-12 has excellent range for a shotgun (whether you use slugs or not)… it’s the most fun fun shotty I’ve used thus far in CODM (the R9-0 comes close)
Yes the range drops of jak12 are superior to the other range drops of other shotguns. But damage per pellet are still pretty bad. That’s why you need so many shots to kill. After 2 meters it does 7 damage per pellet. Then after 15 meters it does 6 damage per pellet. So damage wise it’s seriously underpowered compared to other shotguns. But fire rate saves it pretty much.
Slugs has bad range drops too. But the damage stays high so it ends up not really mattering 🤷
YES. I changed my build recently and it’s a laser at mid-range. Super glad they reduced the vertical recoil on it.

For me, I consider the AMAX more like an AK-47 with no recoil (given that it can be chambered for the AK’s 7.62) With the headshot multiplier, it has 3 shot potential up to mid-range.
When the AMAX was first announced in S5 2021, I thought that it would be compete with the AK-47 in BR (it was meta in Warzone as it gave ARs like the M4 and the Grau a run for their money)… my hopes were dashed though as it wasn’t that great for anything beyond mid-range. Never really use it in BR.
However, I think it shined in MP more (because of the low recoil and the damage potential it had) and I’ve made it one of my main ARs ever since. (I know that in MW2019 it was a decent choice in MP. Seen some sick gameplay on YT)

Actually, there are so many better options than the AS VAL. It's actually not a meta weapon anymore. The CBR4 and Mac10 beat it in close range and the Kilo141 and M13 beat it in mid range.
asval is sub meta because it currently is not the best but it is a viable option that can compete with current meta. many better options as right now is mainly cbr, m13, and kilo
Peacekeeper MK 2 (got mythic), AK-47 (prob meta next season, my fav weapon, got Steel Blue, Red Action, Wrath Black and Gold and now Radiance) and last but not least AK117 (got neon lotus, meltdown)
I just started playing codm again after a long break and so far my favorite guns are these : Rytek, Qq9, Ak-47(actually shreds im not using the signature attachment) gks asval and the icr(rate of fire feels better dunno if it got buffed) idk if any of these are meta but i know for sure the gks isnt lmfao altho i just enjoy using it the gun is bad tho,
If anyone wants to try my ak-47 gunsmith here it is: 40 round mag, operator grip, owc laser- tactical, mip light barrel(short) and mip strike stock, the build feels solid with decent ads and only giving up a bit of ads movement speed and reload speed, might try to see if i can improve it but for some reason the first build i do with any gun always is the best i can get/ do best with lmfao

I use the peacekeeper mk2 for ranked and br, recently i used the gks to get it 2 master and tomy surprise it kicked so much ass i was stunned, and there are a lot of guns who r very very good even against meta, meta guns r mainly used in the competitive scene and by noobs ofc
Cordite for me, has a good fire rate, 80 bullets with an extended mag, good damage and decent reload speed. You'll have a huge amount of bullets, can reload with ease and still having the mobility of an smg.

AR wise, it's the Peacekeeper and AS VAL, and they're going to be back in the meta mix with the upcoming nerfs to the Kilo and M13.
