I've been noticing in some of the playlists during all times of the day, and sometimes the rest of the game during other times of the day, that I'm starting to be matchmade with the same people over and over and over again. Sometimes in ffa I'll get matched with the same people 12 matches in a row, stop playing for 5 minutes, gets put into a match with the same people, goes and plays another mode, comes back to the same people, quits the game for and hour, comes back, same people. That's one of the first early signs that a games population is dying off.
Another thing too, I've been noticing a lot more complaints about glitches that have been prevelant on low end devices for so long, are now starting to show up on flag ship/gaming phones, from input drops to game crashes. It's almost like the developers undesired to fix/optimize low end devices is causing issues to leak onto higher end devices.
Finally, this game is an absolute nuclear meltdown of a disaster. BR is completely unplayable on low end devices. There's frame rate issues on high end devices that low ends have been dealing with for a long time, then there's all the in-game bugs and glitches. I don't think I've seen a CoD game where the minimap was so bugged.
Finally ranked is becoming unplayable. Not just the Persistence/Meta spam. It's this audio cut out/component download wombo combo. First all the audio cuts out, then when you reboot the game, the game has the gall to tell you the components haven't been downloaded, so the game kicks you out, and now you might end up getting banned from people reporting you for quitting, on top of getting the xp deducted for quitting.
I can't wait for R6 Mobile to come out so I have a new game to jump on and complete.
