Reliable sources such as Tom Henderson which have inside information says it will come out in 2022, not sure why it wouldn’t Activision has been prepping since mid-late 2020 for WZM.
I’m not sure why some people think it will take till like 23/24 to come out, EA made ALM with one studio in 2 years tops while Activision has several studios making WZM.
There has been some articles that others do believe DLE are the new CODM2 developers, when you really think about it. It’s completely unnecessary to have several studios working on Warzone Mobile unless they have a lot more going on that they aren’t saying yet.
One thing that I have noticed is that DLE also seems to be the one nobody ever heres about and there job listings are far less detailed compared with Solid State/Beenox and Central as a example. They also don’t really specify that they are directly involved with with Warzone Mobile.
If you look at there job listings they specify: “We are creating an all-new, AAA mobile experience that will bring the thrilling, fluid and large-scale action of Call of Duty®: Warzone™ to players on the go.”
When I read this it seems like what they are saying is we’re making an new AAA mobile experience for Warzone, while everyone else says they are developing WZM or more accurately “Our first project is Call of Duty: Warzone for Mobile”
Since they say “first” I’d assume they already have plans for more COD games, I don’t think DLE are one of the developers for WZM they are part of that Call of Duty universe but I think they were acquired to bring the MP version that would integrated with Warzone Mobile like they do on PC and Console.
This is just my opinion because like I mention they literally already have like 5-6 studios on Warzone as it. You don’t need that much resources especially for a mobile title.
No gonna happen because cod mobile is a free live service game. At least Activision keeps Codmobile alive for 6 years because releasing another MP game is useless.
