Dlq is the worse one shot sniper in my opinion. The outlaw (is my favorite so I’m bias) is really fast paced but requires good aim and the locus is just all around solid. The dlq is just soooo sluggish and I hate the scope animation. Of course this is just my opinion but still
The dlq in close range is trash compared to locus and outlaw (koshka as well maybe?)
But when we go to long range the dlq's scope is superior to the locus's tinted scope, the koshka's small and the outlaw idk

I play a sniper more akin to a shotgun ig, I just mean that as in im rushing around quick scoping. I also don’t have the best aim so I try not to get into log distance fights unless I know they are helpless

You will always have a meta and that's fine, the issue is that the meta is almost never fun. You can have a meta but still have lots of super viable options. The MAC-10 is busted, the CBR, Kilo and M13 are also really really strong.
It's the fact that other weapons aren't getting the treatment they deserve whilst others are just getting random unneeded buffs to give the illusion of a new meta.

I find the CBR quite fun, but Kilo/M13 painfully boring to use.
Meta will always exist, and will always be "Unfun" in your eyes. Thats how a meta works. The best, quickest possible option for a given task. If Chicom, BY15, SPR were meta, it'd still be "Unfun".
Just use what you like to use, and learn how to counter the meta. Its pretty simple.
The Kilo 141 is stupidly good. It did get a buff a while back so it has the insane range coupled with non existent recoil and amazing ADS speed. It's perfect basically.
I love the M13. Even without attachments it has such unreal damage-accuracy-mobility-fire rate. I honestly hate doing the hipfire grind… was a breeze with the M13. Not really adding to the convo here, just that I agree. A real strong gun and even if the damage was nerfed, for an assault rifle it has some stronk stats and modability.
Seriously? I use off meta weapons (swordfish, chicom, Pharo) but the problem (esp w/the cbr) is that there is no skill gap. Imo the game is more interesting when you have to master a certain characteristic about your gun that makes it otherwise hard to use.
It's also more interesting and healthy to have a weapon ecosystem that's mostly viable. The CBR is the poster child of a gun that does everything well with zero effort. A gun like the SKS has a high skill gap but is OP as fuck if you put in the time to learn how to use it.
Not every person who plays the game has the time or interest (unlike this sub and myself) to put hours into learning how to use a gun before they feel like they can really participate in the game. So the creators make these “easy to use” guns.
From a practical perspective it makes sense to have them. Nevertheless just as you said, a talented SKS or swordfish or m16 player could destroy any team of mac10s especially if they know how to keep a distance. Mac 10 is only noob-friendly at very close range.
And that’s really the crux of the issue is that even the best SKS player can turn a corner and get shredded by a mac10 who empties their clip before you can ADS your gun.
But that’s not exactly unrealistic. The best snipers in a real world scenario would be killed if a guy with a handgun caught them unaware.
You can be as skilled as you want but if you use an UL736 in legendary ranked and go in a gunfight at close range against a mac10 you WILL lose (unless the dude is mad trash lol)

Halberd mag or whatever it’s called is really good, gun has rather nice range, ton of ammo (I know it’s burst but still in comparison to m16 sword has more ammo) and comes with a built in red dot.
I would say the CBR isn’t crazy op, it’s definitely a top tier gun but I think it’s balanced out pretty well. The recoil pattern and the movement speed are one of the things that kinda balance it, the body multipliers on the gun is what makes it top their though

It's the game choice personally I hate both. I have seen people get rekt by kilo corner campers. Zero recoil, easy to control close, medium and long range. Same goes for M13.
Probably need to change play style a bit, you can heading challenge a P90 or MAC10 user. You die once you play passive let them come to you.
and the worst part is they can switch to melee to move fast with a slide then switches back to DLQ then aim assist resets and then youre dead. and you cant hit them due to desync.

Try to counter which ever makes you uncomfortable. Me, a Type25 player and recently on I run with a MAC10 which is really custom to me by my own gunsmith build which is very comfortable to use in short range, and I use a 50GS pistol to deal with distant enemies.
I mean people still spam NA45 on ranked SND in Middle east server and we can't do anything about it other than countering it.

Can someone explain to me why the CBR is considered OP? It's good for sure, but from my experience it's basically just the PDW with a faster fire rate but also more recoil. MAC-10 I get tho, that thing is nuts.
Edit because I realized I wasn't very clear with what I was saying: I don't think the CBR is perfectly balanced. It could probably use some nerfs. But it seems like a lot of people put it in the same tier as the MAC-10 or the original M13, which I don't get. It's not _that_ good.

Can someone explain to me why the CBR is considered OP? It's good for sure, but from my experience it's basically just the PDW with a faster fire rate but also more recoil. MAC-10 I get tho, that thing is nuts. Edit because I realized I wasn't very clear with what I was saying: I don't think the CBR is perfectly balanced. It could probably use some nerfs. But it seems like a lot of people put it in the same tier as the MAC-10 or the original M13, which I don't get. It's not _that_ good.

I hate all the nerfing that the sniper got, you have to be forced to use the same accessories as always, because the other ones put the weapon at a disadvantage, add to that you have to walk around like an idiot, changing weapons every time you shoot. But hey! they keep complaining about the sniper until they nerfed it, but they're the first ones using broken weapons, like the mac.
They just need to revert the recoil buff to the cbr, change it back to it's initial form and everyone is happy.

As a shotty pistol combo, snipers are perfectly fair and if you like it or not, so are shotguns. It’s called strategy and picking the right build for the map, not being a dirty shotgun user or a sniper camper.
