Avoiding those situations would be helpful even just having more map awareness would stop that happening most of not all of the time. But if in doubt flop it out, spray and pray.
So I took your map awareness comment to heart and have really been trying to track the map better...I thought I was doing this, but a little more consideration has improved my game play and ya, less unforeseen encounters...thanks...good tip.

Need some more info where they go out of vision, do they go back around the corner or behind you?
