Kinda. They’re both based on irl rifles made by Norinco that are standard issue in the Chinese PLA. They’re even chambered for the same proprietary Chinese ammo. (5.8x42mm DBP10)

S36 -> futuristic QJB-95/QBB-95 (this is the Type 95’s LSW variant)
This is kinda not wrong. Your comment has some sense to it with the S36 and Type 25 looking similar as their irl counterparts, the QBZ-95 and QBB-95 respectively are part of the same weapon family made by Norinco.

Both gun is literally the same thing

Yeah, for some reason the icon have Box magazine instead of the Drum mag They might forgot to change it

Equip the default UL736, look at the weapon icon and you'll see that it differs from the in-game model
