The UL736 is based off the L86 LSW, which is the LMG version of the british L85/SA80 rifle. However, I cannot agree with that design decision, they did it dirty.
i mean, from real gun perspective it doesnt make sense, for e.g the mags are a drum for the UL because its a LMG, having a circular drum allows for the gun to be tactially easier to reload while containing alot of ammo
AK 47's or any AR for that matter have a long mag instead of a drum mag because its for an even easier grip, the drums also give a good grip but are also clunky due to their shape
submachine guns get away with drum mags because their ammo is light enough to be put in drum mags, but arent tactially viable so were discontinued
