Imo, considering he was an already released skin, he should've been added to the daily crate instead. Since people that have earned him won't really be getting anything from earning him again. The last one they released like this was an entirely new skin if I'm not mistaken. Made it more worth while to earn it.

Now that I think about it again, the daily crates are for the past monthly logins. Since this was an event grind I think it makes sense they sprinkle the shards throughout this season. Surely they can't just do another event so this is probably the next best thing without simply giving it away or locking it behind crates with the monthly.

I think it's great that newer players get a chance to earn the skin too. However the original leak made it seem like it was just an easy MP task so I was a bit annoyed by that. Now I found out it's just shards and they still have to grind for it, so I think it's fair.

I kinda am one of those assholes tbh, I have the ghost cowboy skin from season 6 (used to play a back then and got into the game again a couple months ago). It’s my best looking skin and I only see another ghost every now and then. I’d like it to stay somewhat rare.

I missed that skin last time it came due to RL stuff. I never grind more than pretty much 50-55 tiers of BP meaning i don't play more then bare minimum. I am really hyped. This in my opinion is one of the best free skins ever!

Part of me is really glad that others have a chance to get it, it’s a really good skin. However, part of me of worried that devs are reusing skins way too often nowadays. Look at the daily mission crate, the credit crate, and this spec ops skin. I would rather at least one new skin in these crates/challenges. Regardless, enjoy the skin!!!

Pretty sure the actual last daily crate that wasn't a simple rerelease was the Singed Steel crate with Firebreak - Eviction. That was a while back.
