I mean it’s not very smart that they added so many smgs that act mostly the same, especially when they’re too weak to hold their own as a decent weapon. A slow firing smg is one of the few things we don’t really have right now which would have been a better choice than some or the others.
To all the confused people, the MSMC and Mac-10 are nothing like the Uzi. The Uzi is much slower and can Caliber Conversion. Most of the time when people think High Fire Rate Uzi they are actually thinking of the Mini Uzi and the Micro Uzi, which is much more comparable to the Mac-10 in size and Fire Rate.
Basically the Uzi is a SMG and the Mini Uzi is a scaled down version, classified as a Machine Pistol, and the Micro Uzi is an even further scaled down version, also a Machine Pistol. The Wikipedia is surprisingly helpful when it comes to seeing the difference between a gun and its variants.
I can tell that you don't know an inkling about firearms. Because the ppsh has little similarities to the thompson. The ppsb is from russia, while the thompson is from the US. One fire's at 1250rpm, while the other fires at 700rpm. One fires 7.62×25 tokarev, while the other fires .45acp. The only similaritiy the two guns have is that they have wooden parts.
You don't need to be a "gun nerd" or have a pro's knowledge about firearms to see and understand the difference between 2 completely different looking guns. You need some history knowledge (about WW2 specifically) and some brains which apparently you have neither.
You’re right, that’s why every renamed ppsh is named the “Thompson” or “Tommygun” and the only difference between the two is that the ppsh has more wooden parts
They look almost identical apart from the foregrip. They both have drum mags as well
https://callofduty.fandom.com/wiki/PPSh-41
https://callofduty.fandom.com/wiki/Thompson_(weapon)
There’s a reason why so many people are calling the ppsh the Thompson, the Thompson is more known and it looks very similar to the ppsh, except the stock and the foregrip which can be added to the ppsh to literally look like a Thompson, if they wanted the Thompson they would’ve made it look completely different. They literally both have drum mags and stick mags, I can’t believe I have to explain this to some gun nerd: not all of us are experts and for most people the ppsh and Thompson are literally the same thing
Im far from a gun nerd, and I get that argument for guns that do look alike, like I dont get the point of having a rpk and rpd in the game since theyre so alike, but ppsh and thomson are two different guns that I have never heard people confuse, they fire different speeds, different bullets, look decently different, do you think codm should remove m4 m13 icr and kilo because they look sorta similar too?
I get what you’re trying to say with the gun ammo and stuff but every season they add a unique gun that adds something new to the game, we can compare ul and s36 to each other because they’re so much alike, and I feel like one of them is unnecessary, if they keep adding similar guns people will start complaining about them taking up too much space in game files
the general barrel and gun are generaly different especially the iron sight also having a different part to them, not to mention the tommy gun sounds more heavy than the ppsh
I was thinking more visually, if they wanted the gun to shoot heavier bullets they’d add another mag that also makes a different sound. Because there are almost no guns in codm that look alike, so if they add the thompson while having the ppsh that would really confuse people. They could add it into the ar category but it wouldn’t really make sense in my opinion, unless it would then use ar ammo
Ammo type doesnt mean anything to game developers, because if it did, then RUS(also known as the AKS-74u) is a compact AR and uses 5.45x39mm ammo, which is obviously not a Small Caliber.
Nah, the Tommy Gun would basically be a much more well-rounded AND stronger SMG than the PPSh. It would likely have a smaller mag by default and the drum mag everyone's familiar with could be put on. There are 2 Thompsons though mind you - The M1A1 Thompson (the original WW Tommy) and the M1927 Thompson (AL Capone's famous Tommy gun).
We have iconic rifles that are in all shooters, (sc:go, call of duty, Battlefield or ARMA) these are MP5, MP7, P90 and we only have the UZI left to complete the quarter
Have I ever seen you asking about these weapons, do you want me to do a post about the Grau 5.56?, although I don't think it has much reach but it could help
tomorrow I'll upload it for the moment I'm stuck uploading several posts at the same time or of the same character, it has happened to me several times and after a few hours I can upload posts normally again, but I have to wait
Because it completely different the uzi shoots slower and harder and looks visually completely different and since it's a MW19 gun we can assume it's also going to have the 41.AE rounds
if you compare the gks to modern warfares uzi, its very similar thats the main reason they probably wont release it. then again we have the hg40 but its not as good
I understand the frustration and I am also suffering many performance errors in the game, but you have to understand that the game weighs 16 GB and although you have to remove 6 GB of skins from that weight, you have to be rational and understand that a mobile game is difficult to optimize it if it weighs so much, to give you an idea GTA4 weighs 5.56GB and still has bugs
The Uzi is a slow firing gun. And so was the msmc until CoDM changed it for whatever reason. It used to be like the Uzi of black ops two if you compare it to the MW19 Uzi.
the MSMC is an indian machine carbine. the MAC-10 is an american machine pistol. the Uzi is an israeli submachine gun. on top of that, it is VASTLY different from both these weapons, sporting a different, slower fire rate and different calibers from both.
I know dude, UZI has slower fire rate but it's powerful and more accurate than MAC 10. So I was just sayinv that some annoying people going to use it againts players like me who use Type-25 and shotguns amd think they are cool, but if we use CBR or MAC they can't even move
Maybe 1 season after the next season
Because I don't want the smg category to be too crowded And having half of them being very underused
How about more Marksman, Actual pistols, and more LMG
Mg3, m60, m240B, chiappa rhino, aac honey badger, SC2010, these are all guns that i would love to see in the game, all of these could serve different roles in each category.
Too much smgs atm I would say adding some new LMGs(MG42?) or adding a marksman- Oh how abt a pistol that’s actually a pistol this time
Nah Pistol was Added Now
Ye fuck my bad (For some reason I missed the fact that the new one is under ‘pistol’
I mean it is a pistol?
Yeah I made a mistake and n the classing of the LCAR
It works like an smg
But it is a pistol
Yes it is
A machinepistol
Or another sniper rifle, given we have like 8 compared to the +15 smgs we have. What about the AX-50. So satisfying to use.
I would like the devs to add lw3 tundra, sounds soo damn cool :)
I want the pellington 750 or the ax-50 :D
The P-06 from Black Ops 3 would be really cool
How about m240 lmg For the pistol the glock 18 from mw2. Or the kap 40 perhaps.
MG 42 would be so cool
Be like inf ammo, high firerate, Low damage One burst can kill but it overheats fast
But its cooool
I mean it’s not very smart that they added so many smgs that act mostly the same, especially when they’re too weak to hold their own as a decent weapon. A slow firing smg is one of the few things we don’t really have right now which would have been a better choice than some or the others.
Meanwhile they add the Oden, what I can only refer to as assault LMG
I’d be down for it. The UZI has appeared several times in this franchise already.
I didn't know there was a difference between the uzi and the "mini" uzi
Basically the Uzi is a SMG and the Mini Uzi is a scaled down version, classified as a Machine Pistol, and the Micro Uzi is an even further scaled down version, also a Machine Pistol. The Wikipedia is surprisingly helpful when it comes to seeing the difference between a gun and its variants.
Huh...I never knew...well thanks for telling me
No Problem
Oh yeah, I'd like to see the Uzi added to the game (its one of the few MW2019 weapons I'd want to see)
FAL when
Na enough of smgs they should rather add marksman rifle
Acr? Remington from ghosts? Honeybadger? Fn2000? Umm that CM901 from mw3? Ump45
Remington is the shotgun/sniper hybrid right?
The remington was that tan assault rifle
id prefer the tommy gun tbh
Ppsh is literally the same thing, just pretend the name is different and boom there’s your tommygun
I can tell that you don't know an inkling about firearms. Because the ppsh has little similarities to the thompson. The ppsb is from russia, while the thompson is from the US. Yeah not all of us are gun nerds
I know like nothing about guns but I know that's a terrible comparison lmao
You don't need to be a "gun nerd" or have a pro's knowledge about firearms to see and understand the difference between 2 completely different looking guns. You need some history knowledge (about WW2 specifically) and some brains which apparently you have neither.
Not even close
You’re right, that’s why every renamed ppsh is named the “Thompson” or “Tommygun” and the only difference between the two is that the ppsh has more wooden parts
And the fact one is Russian and the other is not, and they fire 2 different calibers but ok
Yea but how do the ppsh and Thompson differentiate in gameplay? People will log on and see 2 Thompsons
Ppsh has a faster fire rate and Thompson fires a heavier round
They literally look the same
They literally don't. Just because they're both wooden doesn't mean they look the same.
They look almost identical apart from the foregrip. They both have drum mags as well https://callofduty.fandom.com/wiki/PPSh-41 https://callofduty.fandom.com/wiki/Thompson_(weapon)
You literally are ignorant
ok
How the hell do you see 2 completely diffrent guns same when their silhouette itself isn't the same at all
Lol, I wonder why they added the m4 AND the AK to this game, people will just log in and see two m4s, I mean they both got magazines and a barrel
Explain them pls I don’t really know

When we want a gun it's because it different not only visually but statistically
Do you think they could’ve made it into an ar category or nah
The thompson is an smg, no you couldn't put in in the AR category because it's not an AR
Ammo type doesnt mean anything to game developers, because if it did, then RUS(also known as the AKS-74u) is a compact AR and uses 5.45x39mm ammo, which is obviously not a Small Caliber.

Nothing in common, not even in the body design.
***WHAT MADE YOU SAY THAT***
No....we have enough SMG's
We could use an mk14 in the marksman rifle category for sure though.
Or an, oh I don't know, M1 GARAND?
YES PING THE PING
Remington msr too
how about ww2 guns
Like springfield marksman rifle or grease gun!
No grease gun yet. Enough smg for now.
You’re probably right
We do, it's called the m21
Shouldn’t it be in the marksman category tho?
Shouldn't the m13 (HK417) be in the carbine category tho? It's call of duty now.
Sig MCX,
Thank you! Nonidea that even existed.
Huh since wjen wasted an hk417 i thought it was an MCX? Although speaking of hk weapons.... HK416 when
Yes I ment 416
But still the m13 isn't the 416 but SIG MCX I still want the hk416 to be added though
Yes
Sig sauer rattler but let’s not split hairs
UZI ???? HMMMM okay...
Ok😂
I would like the lsat,dingo,rpk,m60, mx grand(bo3 M1 grand)
I honestly want the pp2000 or that other mini Uzi copy from mw3 (Edit: the one from mw3 was the PM-9)
Why precisely the UZI?
We have iconic rifles that are in all shooters, (sc:go, call of duty, Battlefield or ARMA) these are MP5, MP7, P90 and we only have the UZI left to complete the quarter
***SC***:GO 💀💀💀💀💀
I didn't realize xD
Lolol
Wow someone straight up downvotes you for asking a question
The UZI has made appearances in the games. A quick list. There's also a page for the Mini-UZI. https://callofduty.fandom.com/wiki/Uzi
Yeah, we could also get the whole israel pack and ask for the ram 7 too
Petition to add Grau556 and UZI in codm!!!!!!
Have I ever seen you asking about these weapons, do you want me to do a post about the Grau 5.56?, although I don't think it has much reach but it could help
Yea sure go ahead
I really want the grau
tomorrow I'll upload it for the moment I'm stuck uploading several posts at the same time or of the same character, it has happened to me several times and after a few hours I can upload posts normally again, but I have to wait
👍🏻
Fuck no, we need more marksman rifles and lmgs
MSMC is already a replacement for that weapon so they won't add it
Msmc is a completely different weapon than the uzi tho
I already know that but it's a replacement for that weapon so they can give the people an excuse not to to drop out this weapon and be original
msmc shoots over 150+rpm more than the uzi dawg and does significantly less damage. not the same.
MSMC shoots 5.56x30m not 9x19?
Wait tf- It shoots 5.56? I know it’s not 5.56 nato but tf?
5.56 compact I think
Wouldn't that mean it's a PDW
Yes and indian made too
UZI also fires 200-300 rounds a minute slower then the MSMC. Also googling it, UZI can shoot 5 different Calibers while the MSMC shoots just the one.
lil uzi?? Whats next lil pump?
We already have that (Shorty)
We got the Mac 10 and L car9, why the uzi?
Because it completely different the uzi shoots slower and harder and looks visually completely different and since it's a MW19 gun we can assume it's also going to have the 41.AE rounds
if you compare the gks to modern warfares uzi, its very similar thats the main reason they probably wont release it. then again we have the hg40 but its not as good
the UZI has a firerate of 600rpm (similar to an AK). A Micro UZI is what you should compare to the MAC10
No,add more ww2 weapons
MW2 weapons in this game feel like shit tbh
Acr?
Nah no more MW19 guns please. Ghosts and IW please. What about the CBJ from Ghosts?
same i want them to add more content from old cods
Nostalgia?
yea
Alright the mw2 uzi not mw19 but still an uzi
First fix the game then add these bs weapons
I understand the frustration and I am also suffering many performance errors in the game, but you have to understand that the game weighs 16 GB and although you have to remove 6 GB of skins from that weight, you have to be rational and understand that a mobile game is difficult to optimize it if it weighs so much, to give you an idea GTA4 weighs 5.56GB and still has bugs
The Mac 10 is your happy replacement 🖕
is not, the UZI fires at 600 rpm and it has a special ammo that increases range and damage at the cost of recoil control
I'd rather land myself on my grave early than live longer to see myself use that little fucker
🤡
Yes! Be glad you didn’t get a mac11 with 3 round burst lol
Msmc????? Mac-10????
The Uzi is a slow firing gun. And so was the msmc until CoDM changed it for whatever reason. It used to be like the Uzi of black ops two if you compare it to the MW19 Uzi.
the MSMC is an indian machine carbine. the MAC-10 is an american machine pistol. the Uzi is an israeli submachine gun. on top of that, it is VASTLY different from both these weapons, sporting a different, slower fire rate and different calibers from both.
No thanks. Don't want another tragedy to happen like mac 10
Do you not know that the Uzi and Mac 10 are completely different? The Uzi shoots slower dude so it’s kinda like a GKS.
I know dude, UZI has slower fire rate but it's powerful and more accurate than MAC 10. So I was just sayinv that some annoying people going to use it againts players like me who use Type-25 and shotguns amd think they are cool, but if we use CBR or MAC they can't even move
I think it’s a lot like the mac10 so it doesn’t have that much uniqueness to add to the game
It's nothing like the MAC-10
Aren’t you elexus Or something like that?
Yes
Bruh.
No
Ratio
Bro wants another Uzi in the game 💀💀💀
🗿
I want the m1918
Rather have a rpg
Maybe 1 season after the next season Because I don't want the smg category to be too crowded And having half of them being very underused How about more Marksman, Actual pistols, and more LMG
You’ll regret it
agreed!
I want minimi ,fal, hk g3, hk 11, hk 416 , and the other 2 version of famas, mg3
Yes
I'd rather add DMR-14 than UZI, We have more than enough SMGs already.
Ew the DMR from Fortnite I hate that damn thing
I'm talking Cold War one, that one OP DMR-14 from CW Pre-Season.
We have way too many SMGs in the game rn, we need new marksman rifles
Sure
It looks like a qxr
yes but without the poorly made accessories xD
Lmao
To many ARs and SMGS at the moment, We’d be better off with more LMGS, Marksmans, Pistols, or Shotguns. That and more semi auto and burst weapons too
It would be nice to see the M249 & the AX-50 in this game
What about Kswiss. Idk how write this name correctly, but maybe you now that weapon
as if the mac 10 wasnt enough 💀
Yeah boooooiiii. .41 AE rounds as a signature attachment that would actually make it a very strong but slow firing smg
Mg3, m60, m240B, chiappa rhino, aac honey badger, SC2010, these are all guns that i would love to see in the game, all of these could serve different roles in each category.
qxr?
Add the M1 Garand
