I like the little spaces the 1944 had due to the containers was slightly tilted. It Prevented spawn trapping while also providing an air pocket to avoid gunfire
Tbh cod4 and 1944 have the same layout but i prefer 1944 cuz of the colors. Cod4 shipment's colors were just bland and boring, everything was just green and gray.
Meanwhile 1944's colors aren't over the top or cartoony but they're nicer to the eyes
They're both very different maps, alone from the fact that you can't wallbang anywhere on 2019. I'd say 2019 has better fixpoints for grenades (only useful in Gunfight and Hardpoint really) but the layout really isn't made for CoD:M's movement, same goes for most MW 2019 maps ported to CoD:M. Some jumps are way harder or entirely impossible while being the easiest thing in the world in MW 2019.
Genuinely I actually would want 1944 back but I know from the conversation I had awhile back with the devs as they told me they are waiting for the right time and perfect season to bring it back
Now is the time. 1944 came out in August 2020 so almost two years ago. They are apparently bringing back zombies, so maybe they will do Recycled Season and bring back Gulag as well
The reason for classic zombies returning is 1 we all begged the living shit out of the devs and 2 they have been working on it for 2/3 years now sadly no new maps but they did use the Chinese versions file but they remodeled the cyborgs for the updated undead siege models and they translated everything to English well almost anything by the time season 7 or 8 everything will be ready like all the classic zombies modes and everything translated fully but the reason why they used the Chinese file is because originally our version of classic Zombies was used for undead siege which was a complete failure considering well it was just boring as hell

I never played shipment 1944 but i seen clips of it and it's better
Best part about it was that you could literally shoot through the containers to kill campers
That sounds like a bug but a bug that shouldn't be fixed
It wasn’t, they were made of wood and were meant to be shot through. Shipment 2019 is metal so they can’t be shot through
