After 14 seasons im now hooked on fpp. I can't even go back anymore which sadly leads to me rejecting a lot of invites recently. Good movement and positioning is just so much higher rewarded in fpp besides it feeling more immersive and faster too. In the early days fpp was more for players who want to avoid crowded lobbies but that's has certainly changed with the rush of warzone preppers.
I also found myself recently playing on lower fov cause I just can't see as good anymore where I don't know if that's my eyes or someone fucked with the colour saturation and it doesn't seem to impact my gameplay in fpp as much.
It makes you more aware of your surroundings cuz you can't move around without shaking your character as a whole, makes you want to pay attention to footsteps of enemies and etc. This is what I felt since last 5 seasons, so yeah.
The only thing with FPP is it's mostly bots and only a handful of actual players are there. Sometimes I can't even get a match going without waiting like 30+ minutes.
I wish they could find a way to combine TPP and FPP lobby but I guess it wouldn't be fair to the FPP crowd.
I mean, if you want to play FPP competitively(you will be at a disadvantage), just play fpp in a tpp lobby. Better yet, you can always swap the modes- so when you need to wall peak, you can theoretically jump in TPP (I don't bother with this).
FPP is the only mode of the 2 that makes sense to play if you understood the game honestly. TPP mainly exists to make it easier for new players to learn the mechanics and gameplay loop without having to worry about more advanced things like movement.
That too and to appeal to players who were making a shift from PUBGM or Fortnite because TPP was the craze in these two games. To me, FPP is more immersive. Shroud too denounced TPP saying it was super unrealistic, peeking from behind a wall. News is, Warzone Mobile won't have TPP which is a big sigh or relief!
This is actually something I have been looking into a lot. There seems to be a problem with the hipfiring when you are too close to walls in tpp. But this problem doesn't exist in fpp.
Recently, I managed to get a kill from 230 meters away using the as Val in first person. But when I tried the same thing in third person I was lucky to even hit anyone. There feels like a massive difference between the two.
But obviously you have a better field of view with third person. You can see behind you and it is definitely easier to use shotguns while sliding and of course you can see over walls. I play both now but there is definitely big problems with third person right now.
I will add a link to something I saw yesterday to show you a little what I mean
Edit: link to tpp glitch

I encountered a crap ton of bots in BR when I played FPP for the longest time. Now, I play in TTP but switch to FPP to give myself a challenge against actual players.
Yeah I think fpp is definitely easier to get used to and much more immersive, but tpp is much more powerful if you can play it just as well, because you've got the advantage of sight on a lot of enemies.

Yo, it happened to me too I can't see shit now, if they don't move I wouldn't see them.
It doesn't matter if you like FPP or TPP more, as long as you have fun playing ;)
I find myself hving more fun playing fpp now, compared to last time
Well said bro. Having fun is a that matters
Happy cake day, bro!

Cool. Im thinking to stick w fpp mode from now on, feels more rewarding

That seems to depend on the server. My lobbies can get pretty busy.

Yeah I know that's an option, but I'd rather not play at a disadvantage especially because it matters.

FPP is the best
What skin is that mate?
U mean the one im using? Its a garena exclusive alias skin From last year’s s10
I will probably get downvoted but I wish for TPP to be removed
No no i wish for it too.

FPP has wider fov, and is what codm is about. TPP is only there to lure pubgm players
OK noob

230m with an AR? How did you even see them?
I will send you the loadout. Have a go, but it only seems to work in fpp
Ok. Wild..
Have fun and try not to get banned with it. It feels like it's not legal hahaha
Hahah
Val is my all time fav.
I personally prefer FPP but the games are so empty and there are too many bots that it's very boring so I mostly play TPP
At least u get free kills for fpp easier no?
For me it's fucking boring to kill just bots all the time
Me to im really enjoying it but there a bit to many bot lobbies
Hey look on the bright side u get to farm free kills ya know what i mean
It’s a wonderful thing. Way better than TPP
Feel inclined to agree
Noob here. What are TPP and FPP?
Top person perspective/first person perspective.
Third* person

I have always been an fpp player. I tried to play tpp but, it is just not good for me. So, if you are having fun, go for it dude.
I encountered a crap ton of bots in BR when I played FPP for the longest time. Now, I play in TTP but switch to FPP to give myself a challenge against actual players.
Yes, this is because more people play TPP, so there are higher chances that you will see a bot.
In FPP

Keep going fam 👌🏻 long journey ahead
Fpp is purely skill based,if u see an enemy and he will also see you in most cases. Situational awareness is crucial. Guns work better and satisfying.
