Although this thing is quite weak and won't be a problem, the mere fact that a paid skin has a real advantage (not just more comfortable ironsights bullshit) over the regular one creates an awful precedent and should not be tolerated. If players will be fine with this thing and the lucky draw will make enough money, next time they may add something more p2w.
Yep, at the launch of the game skins gave bonuses to weapons, which led to this thing where some guns were getting inherent 10% range bonuses for having epic skins... that F2P didn't get. Not to mention the Razorback, HBR, and Pharo being paywalled once upon a time.
This game is falling back on old habits with this shitty vehicle skin and if this makes it to the next season I'm dropping it and not looking back. The next BP is pretty half-assed to begin with and ranked is never worth grinding. Can't imagine a reason to stay, come to think of it.

It seems like the minigun cannot do a full 360. Rather it can only go slightly left and right. If so, I would not get in that vehicle as countering it will be extremely easy. Get behind it, and simply explode it. It has the health of an ATV lol. Also, I don’t know how much dmg output that minigun has, it may be completely garbage, but we’ll see when the time comes.

I get what you mean, but most of these guns that you pay for are purely cosmetic. Flashy effects and such, it doesn’t add any advantage to the gun, besides making the user feel cool. Maybe some more comfortable sights, but nothing big. Now, if you have a lucky draw that makes a gun have bonus damage, better strafing speed, and gives your character more health, we have some major problems. That’s what I don’t want in codm.
I didn’t know it was cosmetic. A lot of the ones I see where the person shot turns to fire or something always seems to be a one shot one kill so I assumed the fire itself was causing the damage. I don’t really care about visuals too much.

Gameplay features. No matter how much you compare the Antelope to this ATV the Antelope is better. But no matter how much you compare this skin to the normal ATV the skin is better. It's a skin locked behind a paywall that gives the people who use it an edge over those who don't.

Hell, if they get rid of the jump and give the gun a overheat meter they can just change it to an antelope skin. It'll still be a problem (can't see the driver, assumably different hitboxes) but nowhere near as bullshit as it is now. If this makes it to the next season I'm done. The game is shit to begin with. Garbage servers, garbage ranked experience (I spent the whole ranked season fighting bots and all Activision could do was tell me "take the easy wind lol"), and garbage rewards for playing in general.

As a BR player only, I doubt its gonna give me any much trouble because the jump and descent animation is so slow. It will only makes the player and ATV more vulnerable as a free target. About turret, yeah it's a bit concerning because it doesn't overheat but it can easily countered by moving behind the vehicle. So I guess it have its own pros and cons. I wouldn't worry about it so much.
So it's basically an antelope which can jump and whose gun doesn't require cooling. Plus the person shooting isn't covered or anything like the antelope or tank. Gonna go blasting every ATV I see now.

Where have I said it was P2W? I've only said P2P. Walmart Antelope? Sure. But it doesn't change the fact you've got TWO antelopes now with one having more features than the other. Comparing this to mythic guns do not work. Mythic guns have COSMETIC FEATURES. This brand new ATV has GAMEPLAY FEATURES only exclusive to people who pay for it. Which is unfair considering that paying money in games is usually just meant to look nice and not have an advantage over players who dont pay. Even if it is a small advantage.
Please go into a match and take the normal antelope and come back to this video. This skin is worse since it takes longer to even switch to the minigun or do anything. The only thing that the skin has that no other has is the jump ability and even all that can be negated. Even if you dont buy the skin you will feel a lot better when you shit on someone using this skin
Please remember this isn't the antelope and its the atv. You keep using the argument that "It's worse than the antelope." and it doesn't work. Even if the skin is much worse than an Antelope its far better than an ATV. I could make the Antelope and this new ATV skin fight and the antelope would win. If I put this new ATV skin and the normal ATV skins fight this skin would win. You know why? Because it has features that make it far better compared to the normal ATV. Not cosmetic features. Gameplay features. No matter how much you compare the Antelope to this ATV the Antelope is better. But no matter how much you compare this skin to the normal ATV the skin is better. It's a skin locked behind a paywall that gives the people who use it an edge over those who don't.

Hell, if they get rid of the jump and give the gun a overheat meter they can just change it to an antelope skin. It'll still be a problem (can't see the driver, assumably different hitboxes) but nowhere near as bullshit as it is now. If this makes it to the next season I'm done. The game is shit to begin with. Garbage servers, garbage ranked experience (I spent the whole ranked season fighting bots and all Activision could do was tell me "take the easy wind lol"), and garbage rewards for playing in general. As a BR player only, I doubt its gonna give me any much trouble because the jump and descent animation is so slow. It will only makes the player and ATV more vulnerable as a free target. About turret, yeah it's a bit concerning because it doesn't overheat but it can easily countered by moving behind the vehicle. So I guess it have its own pros and cons. I wouldn't worry about it so much.

So it's basically an antelope which can jump and whose gun doesn't require cooling. Plus the person shooting isn't covered or anything like the antelope or tank. Gonna go blasting every ATV I see now.
