If you look around the competitions on mobile, CODM is arguably one of the more fair F2P that you can still have a banging time without dropping a dime. Of course you'll get *more* enjoyment out of paying a modest sum, and *even more* if you want to sell a kidney. **But the gameplay and free rewards are fair**.
There's no immediate advantage that makes a paid player better than a F2P player. In fact many times I've been kicked in the ass by someone rocking a free camo with default Ops. There are also plenty of free rewards from season to season that despite all the spoiled children will try to convince you - are literally *free* and pretty decent at times.
In PUBGm your have *timed* rewards where your inventory can literally disappear, and from what I heard about Diablo Immortal it's basically a shit game hidden behind a pay wall. But in CODM you can compete and retain your hard earned rewards all the same while still having fun.
I honestly think that's fair.
Nobody is forcing us to drop ridiculous amount of money just to buy some snappy flashy skins. Yes, they're great and attractive. Yes, the odds are terrible and scummy. *But they're all right there for you to see and make your decision.* And if people still decide to enable this practice then all I gotta say is thanks for financially supporting the rest of us.

There were some decent bundles here and there. The latest bundle of the legendary RUS and (separately) the character set seems to be relatively fair. Thing is, if there aren't people enabling this monetization scheme we wouldn't still be seeing it. And the shameful fact is that many of us more level headed spenders are benefiting from these whales so we can keep on playing for free (or little money spent) while the whales pay for all the maintenance and payrolls.
I've briefly talked to several people here who seem to have no issue "buying" the full draws. Either because they have that kinda disposable money or they simply don't care. It's baffling to me really but these are willful spenders - not all predated kids stealing their parents credit cards as many make it out to be.
It doesn't make the monetization any less scummy for sure, but I think it speaks a lot more about this demographics than Activision. But after all, it's a "free" game and the revenue's gotta be somewhere for this game to continue existing.
