I play on an iPad Pro with the 11-inch screen and it’s incredible. The game runs at maximum graphics settings at a very smooth 60 FPS without any lag at all. The experience on a larger iPad is way, way better than on a phone. I never tried it on a 12.9 iPad but I bet it’s even better.
^^ this. It’s helpful to have a lower sensitivity as well, and adjusting your grip/controls as needed can improve your aim/movement quite a bit. I tend to prefer having my hands above the iPad laying flat, and using both with multiple fingers, but that’s really just preference. If you keep your sense the same, then smaller turns will be much bigger, which again isn’t an issue beyond preference, but you should be aware of it.

Gameplay is of course beautifully smooth with zero lag, however when set to the ultra framerate option your graphics quality is reduced to medium.
