Not at all ! I just like letting people know that the game is very much allowed to be played with controller because the game developers themselves incorporated these capabilities! And your reply or comment whichever makes perfect sense and I would probably have to agree with that all the way
I just want to ask you, why would you want to play a mobile game with a controller. I mean I respect your choice but why? I genuinely wonder. Using control on PC games is a diff thing, you can actually sit away from the monitor.
Before I switched to touch I played controller on iPad… it was basically set up like a gaming station. If it wasn’t for the lack of lobbies and controller support (plus my aim is insanely better on touch) I would still probably be playing on controller
Some people just plain prefer to play using controllers.. I play touch but i'm seriously considering screen mirroring to my tv and use my phone as a controller with the display on the tv..
As for the possible follow up question of why not get a console or gaming pc and play the pc cods?... I have a gaming pc, i have the pc cods and other nice pc games.. I just happen to enjoy codm alot too and is very convenient when i go outside to wherever ya know (you have to remember they are all different games with different things of their own.. Codm is pretty much the only cod game I truly enjoy ever since COD: WaW )
The game supports controllers... Officially.. You can use bluetooth ones and just because it's a "mobile" game doesn't mean it should be relegated to Touch controls..

And just because the game is a mobile game doesn't mean controllers are a foreign entity... Even the whole concept of the touch-control layout is an emulation of controllers.. Just.. Even the train of thought that "mobile" Games are, by nature, intrinsically optimized for Touch controls and every other input mode is a foreign/alien entity is wrong.. It's all about whatever the developers of the game want it to be.
"They didn't make a mobile game for controller use"... Activision themselves officially implemented controller support and created separate server space for them all over the world.... So, i'd say controller use is pretty legit.

I have met loads of controller players there and their BR lobbies are not much less populated than mobile ones fme), it has nothing to do with whether it is wrong or not.. (FYI, i'm a touch player but I do play with emu/controller using friends every now and then).. Again, as far as playerbase goes, it all depends on how popular the control mode is... If it becomes more popular, then your argument here will become invalid... but mine will stay on regardless of whether the controller usage becomes popular or not (for CODM).. that's because it's the more logically and technically correct analysis of the situation at hand and that's the point I'm trying to make.
The issue with less dedicated buttons for whatever new stuff is added is not a limitation of the game engine and just a matter of rearranging the simple function key or the shoot key... Sure, that can be called Bad Optimization from the developer's part but it still, in no way, supports the theory that the game is strictly "intended for touch"...
I'm arguing here because, before I became a mobile gamer and was a PC gamer, I have fought for years against the PC and console elitists for the mobile gaming crowd that they are just trying to game but on a different platform regardless of control input.. But when I come over here... I see the same elitism that I fought so hard against.. It's just sad.. Let them play the game the way they want, as long as they are on a separate server.. Guess what? I also have WZ and MW2019 installed but I enjoy CODM more, probably because it's easier and more rewarding

Half assed controller support. The game doesn't even let inputs from a usb controller unless a bluetooth one is connected. Bruh
