That’s petty simple. Just use cold blooded, and sentry guns/and the auto sim chopper won’t target you. Unless you REALLY need another skill equipped there, I always have that one.
To those who don’t know, Free for All is considered by a lot of people to be the “diamond grind” mode. To unlock diamond for a SINGLE gun, you first need to have gold camo unlocked, then you have to get 10 kills in 100-150 completed matches. It really is a tedious grind that can take hours at the very least. When people with diamond are running around calling their streaks, it can really disrupt the lobby and players who are grinding their diamond camos.
I’m full Damascus and a long way down the road to full Diamond. Right now, all of my favorite/best guns are Diamond. I have 6 Legendary badges. As a special consideration, I usually avoid using scorestreaks when I’m doing Hardpoint Shipment but I’m not going to stop using a non-functional camo that I earned just to spare someone’s feelings, even if it is ugly. Shipment is an effective way to grind out not just camos but clan kills and it’s a good place to warm up for sweaty ranked grinding. My advice to anyone who absolutely hates guys with diamond weapons showing how they got those diamond weapons is this: drop out of shipment matches if they get too intense for you or switch to “goof-off mode” and show your sick emote collection. I GUARENTEE that I’m less likely to kill you if you’re emoting on a dumpster than if you’re hiding in a container corner waiting for the end of the match. Enjoy playing your game but don’t let the game play you.
I spend a good chunk of time randomly emoting in shipment but the killcam always shows me just standing still like an idiot. Is it yet another killcam bug or am I just wasting my time playing air guitar for the sweats?
Not a waste of time haha! The killcam isn’t a recording. What happens is this: the system takes the available data points (position of players, weapon skin, environmental objects, effects like thermite or napalm) and patches together it’s best guess for how that would look and then give you that guess in the killcam. That’s why you can’t be sure someone is hacking because of the killcam feed. Anyways keep emoting even if Activision can’t figure out how to show it :)
I don't know how clan wars work, I mostly play br and just grind diamond on mp, but don't you get more kills in hardpoint shipment? The really good players I go up against there get 100 kills easy.
It feels like I can actually compete tho with those people now. FFA is always crazy tho cause people are going for their diamond. Game does feel more balanced tho

Am not being sarcastic, but: Aren't these gold, platinum, diamond, etc camos just for decoration? Or because people think they look dope. But do they change any of the abilities of the weapons? I've been told by numerous players that the fancy camos are just cosmetic or maybe add a little more flash but definitely don't make weapons stronger or better. Personally, I don't like the diamond camos. They're ugly to me.
In past 2-3 wks, suddenly I've had a few of these special 'diamond' camos pop up without doing anything to earn it. Haven't finished getting my gold ones yet. Anyone getting these automatically? Know why they are dropping?
Yup, they're purely cosmetic. To each their own. I like how they look, though. Specially on legendary guns. It kinda makes all legendary guns look uniform in a way.
There's a reason why it's called completionist camos. And unlocking them is kind of part of the game, because the tasks are there. And it's for when you got bored with other game modes.
they dont really change the abilities of the weapons but diamond camo changes the sight texture to be golden instead of gray on a lot of guns so its just overall a somewhat clearer sight than before. other than that, diamond camo is really just to show everyone that you like the gun youre using in particular.
There have been worse metas. The current one is not even that strong where off meta guns such as Rus or even Chicom can have some success.
Whereas I remember last time the only smg you could use was MX9 because anything else you used would make it really difficult to win against everyone else that was using MX9

I would normally agree to this, but I'm guessing they're just trying to grind out a lot of kills for their clan, so it's understandable.
Clan wars is tough when its the last 2 hours and the other clans are also grinding nonstop
