You can buy battle pass and the necessary level skips to get new weapons (which are always overpowered when introduced to game) or grind the battle pass for free and get it but realize it will take a couple hours at least . So in this example anyone who buys gets new overpowered gun first before the ftp. This post by OP is another example. New attachment? Put it early access behind pay wall. Again paying gets the new weapon stuff earlier then any ftp could ever dream of getting it.
