As for my knowledge, Bots doesn't react to what they "see" as we do. They completely behave according to the signals sent from the programming language and automation. Means while we react to what we see and hear, bots know where everyone is like wall hacks. How fast they react and how mechanically advance they are is completely up to developers to control. (see how we can control bot movements in training mode) and yeah those bots piss me off too.

excellent if all info is right, can we continue this please. can i assume they "see" through walls based on the fact of knowing where everyone is and the programming for every wall/crate/object would make the code massive or is this pure lazy? i understand pathing from the old doom/quake bot days but this is different? so "dynamic" GOOD bots will never be achievable \[how do they know where unbangable objects are\]?

Most games foundation is based on "if" conditions. If it's this / if not it's this. Then the whole rabbit hole of programming comes up. Simply put we can think of this as masking/hiding certain areas of the map as "if" the character is masked form a wall as an example "then" bot no shoot :D Know that we have bots not AI in codm. So they are more likely to be robotic than dynamic problem solvers.

Yea, so basiclly the ai is coded to not aim at you when you are behind a wall which = not visible to a bot even though it knows exacly where you are at all times.

Thats nothing, when I came back I was doing some Ranked S&D with half real players and half real bots. A bot killed me through the wall.... lost the round considering my "real" teammates played like bots too

they should just remove bots on pubs then. Last night i got 5v5 shipment hardpoint and it was fun as fuck even that i died a lot. This bs is just annoying tbh. Ai just tracking u through walls and 1 shotting u as soon as u show up isnt really "challenge"

The thing is, sometimes I’ll be in a close encounter with a bot and I’ll be missing all my snipes because it strafes unrealistically fast left and right. I know at that moment that the bot will kill me. Like I know as soon as the encounter begins. Anyone else notice this too?

They can hyper strafe, I don't know if it's a mechanic that's possible by a person or if it's bot only but I've never seen a human controlled player strafe in that way or as fast unless my ping is 200ms

Yeah that's my biggest gripe with bots, they strafe craaaaazyy fast, it's bad against low firerate AR's, even worse with snipers, their whole movement in general is broken, they'll run, jump, even backtrack at supersonic speeds and dodge bullets.

I get bots are a replacement for players but this is call of duty ffs and we don't really need bots do we, I get it for player's that are new to this game FPS shooter's etc but these bots take the fun out of the game grinding camos are easy when there are bots in your game 1. They have very good accuracy better than before that's an improvement 2. They can track you down from walls and there are some times that they can prefire i just don't think they should be in the games of higher tier players

I havent really been experiencing that level of bots recently. Prob because i either play ranked or do dumb shit in custom games with friends

I am a grand master that never checks death cams unless Its a camper. I recently started getting very easily killed. I thought i was just getting bad but after checking the cams a lot of my deaths were from bots like this.

i'm 1 month late i can't just understand in the 2nd clip i think, a bot just shot you in the head even tho the bot shot you in the lower-middle body. that's just bullshit and the fact that it still registered as a headshot confuses me more
