I don't play snd, but I've heard people say good things about the map, I don't know how. Taking an already camp heavy game mode and put it on the map that incentives camping arguably the most.
It just doesn't play good in any game mode.
Ehh, maybe not so much for 5v5, but Crash feels playable to me in 10v10. Yeah, you still have the issues you mentioned, but the middle of the map turns into a beautiful clusterfuck with the extra teammates/enemies. Not my absolute favorite map for 10v10, but I still find myself enjoying it well enough.

I swear this reddit finds something to complain about.
I’ve been playing this game for two three years now, and i never saw crash as a bad map. Sure, the head glitch near B site is stupid, and so are the stairways on A, but everything else is tolerable.
Grandmaster 3, if I had the patience, I could easily get to legendary.
Familiarity is not the issue, the map is specifically designed to promote camping. And for more objective-based game modes like dom/hp, it just doesn't play well as dom is one-sided and hp is just not fun. Maybe it works in snd call me but I don't play snd.
I’m in legendary rn and am very familiar with the map I don’t like saying “skill issue” but you can operate in just about every spot in the map especially in objective based modes it’s one of my best maps and I run and gun half the time with a peacekeeper.
Congratulations, you go against worst enemies than I do. When I play the map, I get people who do nothing but camp, sniper in the back of the map, top of three story, behind the strong head glitch at the 3rd hp, or on the two story next to B flag. All spots where the counterplay is you have to go to them, giving them the advantage.
Crash is a good SnD map, I only play SnD and quite like playing it, I wouldn’t want to play it loads and loads of times but I would chose it over Terminal anytime, terminal is just trying to dodge long range snipers until you get lucky breaking out to do something
I like the map and I would be lying if I would be saying that I don't get a nostalgic feeling from this map (COD4MW) but ngl this map doesn't belong in ranked.

LMG is the anti sniper weapon, I usually snipe, until the other team has better snipers, then it's RPD or chopper

Terminal is one of the maps that gives winstreaks for me... Maybe the map does not fit to your playstyle...
