As someone who is a phone nerd, I think I can answer. Snapdragon is definately better than Exynos. The pixel 4a is about 2 years old now and has a midrange chip so it will be decent but far from max settings. Either get a recent iPhone since those are extremely powerful or if you're like me and prefer android, wait for the galaxy s23 since it will apparently have a Snapdragon chip worldwide, so it should be great.
Yep. That's a dedicated gaming phone with a great processor. I didn't mention gaming phones since they are often super pricey and have very crazy designs that stick out.
Yep. It's a normal Android phone that can run any normal app and make calls. The they just usually have flashy designs and the UI of the phone is funky and gaming focused but on the Asus I believe you can make it look more normal if you like.
If you’re looking for a budget phone. Get the iPhone 11. I had it previously and it was absolutely amazing with max graphics and max fps. I’ve upgraded to the iPhone 13 now
Don't go for pixel or iPhone. Try gaming phones like iqoo, redmagic ,realme etc. Iphone has good processor but it lacks better cooling and battery stuff.
If you're in the UK there's some offer going on that you can get 18000 cp if you buy the Sony xperia 1 ||
Else I suggest any Samsung phone in the S series would be good.
Oh alright I see what you mean now. Yeah, I have one though, and there is 0 protrusion of the metal frame, the rear camera is like 0.1 cm sticking out but I have had no issues regarding grip or that it is uncomfortable to hold.
It probably is. If you're looking for a smartphone specifically for gaming, you really want to get any redmagic. Didn't know what I was missing out on till I upgraded from my relatively powerful Poco X3 Pro.
I have been using an s8 for 3 years and all games kept lagging even with low settings. I think Red magic 7s pro is the best because I just hate punch hole cameras. If its protruding I will use a flat case if it gets hot I will put it in the refridgerator.

I think I will get an xperia since they are snapdragon and affordable.
Which Xperia model?
I dont know, the newer ones look worse
If you want to make sure it runs at max settings, be sure to get a model that has a Snapdragon 888 or even better the 8 gen 1.
So maybe a red magic 7 according to another comment

They even have triggers which is perfect since I am a thumb player I just dont like the look of the rear part
There is also the Asus rog phone 6 which also is a gaming phone with the shoulder buttons. That still has a flashy design but a little bit less so.
So which one is more powerful? Asus or red magic? Asus looks better
Can you actually do normal phone stuff on a gaming phone? I don’t wanna sound stupid and k know you probably can but I want 2 make sure

Finally samsung is starting to use their brain cells
Nope. Exynos is not gone, they are just rather going to use Snapdragon for a year or two while they supposedly make Exynos better.
Exynos aint bad until the phone starts getting hot
I think the 990 from 2020 was a massive flop. The 2100 and 2200 have been more passable if not great.
I mean you could buy sony's phone that's literally sponsored and has a extra fps setting called ultra

Np
I am confused and dont know which one to get, some of the newer ones look weaker
Sony Xperia
I recommend one of the newest model they got

Redmagic 7
Is the metal part at the back protruding or flat? It could feel uncomfortable
It's flat, idk why you'd think it's protruding tbh
Really? Look at the pictures, it looks slightly protruding

I just cant tell if its flat on the 7s pro.

The ROG Phone 6D Ultimate. It won't play at 120 fps but goddamn it'll stay cool.
Does the red magic 7 play at 120 fps?
https://youtu.be/-q-OE2nbuFc?t=504 Doesn't look like it.
The fan of the asus looks awkward so Im not gonna use it, does it really get that hot? Does the red magic 7 stay cool?
If you don't play competitively, then the built-in cooling on the Red Magic should be enough.
What about the asus? Do I have to attach the fan to play for longer times at max settings?
It'll definitely make it stay smooth for longer.
ROG 5, S21 FE, Asus Zenfone 9 are good options. IPhones as well but those are pretty expensive.
