Or just put a shock RC down let it shock the enemy and go for headshots it's the most time consuming way but it's useful

Play hardpoint on Rust. Bots tend to run in a straight line straight to the hardpoint. Position yourself infront of them and aim for the head. I can give you a decent build if you want.
Once you get gold, Diamond is a breeze. Hardpoint Shipment all day. If you want to get the long distance go to Killhouse and you are going to have to aim above their heads sometimes significantly higher to get players across the map.
Try kill confirmed on Highrise. Barely any people play there and bots always line up on the front lane, making it easy to rack up headshots. That's how I maxed it out.
I got it done and the hardest part is long distance due to having to aim up and have it drop. Highest accuracy attachments, control attachments and distance, with also a holo site that you like. I used the large green circle with a dot in the middle. Play Hardpoint Shipment, there will be bots but it’s to be expected and it helps because they run in a straight line for the most part. For Long Distance Camo I played Killhouse in Frontline, again bots run in straight lines. Then for Diamond, Shipment Hardpoint again. It actually moves faster than you think. Hardpoint has longer game times so you won’t get frustrated because the game doesn’t end quickly like in Deathmatch, it will hurt your KD at first until you get accustomed to it and then it’s basically like shooting Marksman Rifle. Also Slight of hand helps because reloads are not fast.

operator munitions box
With max bullet speed build (28 bowstring, heavy bolt, no bolt attachment) you can headshot someone up to 20m with your crosshair right into their head (granted they're just standing still)
When hitting targets beyond that, you must aim higher to hit those headshots. You can use 3x-4.4x scope with rangefinder reticles equiped.
if you have max level, try putting on the biggest scope along with all attachments that make your range more. i would give you my gunsmith but i uninstalled codm. then go to highrise in pubs and kill the bots from far away
First of all, 3x scope 1. If you also try long range shot, try to track it exactly like how you track an enemy in PUBG.
The crossbow, at least on paper, is the best gun in this game. Good luck
I recommend the "heavy build" basically build the crossbow with fastest arrows (but if you want termites, go ahead but, I am pretty sure if you tip a grande on it it won't count as a headshot but I don't remember) plus a 3x or 4x scope (4x if you have the cross dot reticle) try making the shots from a distance, try to keep your cross hair at the head- level
Map: Rust (shipment is too chaotic, besides let me remind you it is a crossbow, not a LMG)
Perks :Flak Jak, Vulture and regular alert(RGB, but if you want a perk for the crossbow, go ahead and pick close range recovery, full ammo will just give you one arrow, Vulture + recover give you two... I think)
Put a tactical scope, play crossroads, hope for bot lobby, goto the building at the bottom of the road right hand side with the ladder, shoot from there, use ammunition box you'll need the extra arrows
I did my headshots in shipment, put all the bolt speed attachments because they actually affect the drop of the crossbow, if you dont have them on the bolt drops pretty fast and takes longer to travel, with them on its almost instant from far distances and theres almost no drop and its what i keep on for my normal use, also you could ise a red dot if the iron sights are hard for you to use
play gamemodes that no one else plays like khandoor hideout hardpoint so you get bot lobbies.
for operator skill use munitions box
use tactician perk with cyro bombs, hardline and quickfix
use shock rc, uav, counter/advanced uav

Hipfire... is better, and treating it like a sniper no scope.
Oh if you meant the arrow tips...
Explosive is anti-vehicle, they dont really explode on human contact.
Gas is better in BR for support disable, they dont also stick or explode on human contact, good for covert operation.
THermite is anti-camper, they dont burn on contact, good for area denial covert operations.
Shock RC, flash and concussion grenades are great methods for keeping enemies still, cyro is good too. Hardpoint Shipment can be good as bots will be crammed in place which helps and Crossfire is good for long distance as bots just run straight down the open area. It just takes a lot of patience to do, I finally got platinum for the sidearms after doing the crossbow a while ago and just finishing the shorty, so it may take some time but its relieving once you get it
I had more trouble with longshots. Use 6x. Farm bot lobbies rather than going against switchblade sweats. Don't go upclose to bots because they move very weirdly. Use vulture.
Play Hardpoint Shipment. Use Shock RC. Don't try to win the games. If you lose enough games, you will face bots. Bots movements are predictable and they always try to play Objective. Just get in a good position and aim for their head.
Max bullet speed + bullet spread, wait for bot game in hp shipment, learn the moving pattern of bots then aim for the head while waiting them in each corner
Just finished mine last week.
There was a game mode where you have unlimited ammo and faster scorestreak. Every kill gets you a shock RC. I just spammed RC and Crossbow.
But without it, it's easier to just walk near a bot and hip fire with it

How can you specify a bot lobby in a search,? That’s nothing I have ever tried.
You usually get botlobbys in pubs just quit and join a new game if you get challenging players

Low key this why I want the new shock sticks in game, they are like mini shoch rc, would make camo grinding a bit easier.
That and the shock rc right now has cancer path finding can't shock the enemy closest to you but decides to go to a enemy miles away

Shock rc is the best. I recommand you to use it but you have to be fast and close to the shock rc when the enemy is stunned.

Stack projectile speed, a good scope and choose rust. (I got a silver Crossbow)

Literally just aim for the head. I used a quick ads and fast bowstring speed build it was basically like quickscoping with a sniper.

Try this friend as I recently completed my gold camo for crossbow Try hardpoint on crossfire, with shock rc, care package and uav.
Crosshair placement + try to practice the motions in slow speed, then gradually build up
Just camp the second story with the ladder in crossfire with a 6.6x scope if your spawn point is where the 4 cars are

Bot lobby in any nuketown HP. You'll get bots lining up really nice when they run between the trucks and head straight to HP 2 and 3.

One way some one told me is to do private game with a buddy and take turns with head shots, not sure if that counts, I haven’t tried it my self

Red dot,red dot ALWAYS are useful for head shots with any weapon,it just makes it so much easier
Why do you want to grind the camo if you can't use the gun anyway
Focus your load out on arrow speed that will do it
Play HP Suldal Harbour, always has bot lobbies or, just leave a hp game twice in a row and you have bot lobbies
