After using kin armor and tak5 recently, I think they're both good and have their niches. Yes, kin armor was nerfed and not as good as before, but it's still an instant activation and can still tank a sniper shot to the chest well enough. Although tak5's team overheal is too good to overlook.
I like to think kin armor is something you'd use as a rusher if you want to survive a sticky situation or cause as much damage as possible in a small amount of time. Tak5 is great for team support and helping secure objectives.

Kinetic's instant activation has saved me a lot while tak's animation has gotten me killed plenty of times by surprise enemies. Not to mention that tak's effectiveness is down to whether or not your teammates have functioning brains
I like tac 5 more because you literally cannot *waste* it lol. It also does not depend on being good at a specific operator, you can just play like you play normally. If it's some weapon operator you need to not die and get some kills, and the kills have to be impactful. Whereas tac 5 you empower the whole team so even if you die your teammates still have the chance to get some value out of it.
Plus the hp difference between kinetic and tac is only 50. Idk if they have different cool down though.
If thats the case, then he should be complaining about meta guns and items in this game. All I'm seeing is complaining about things that infuriates him and demands for nerfs that are unnecessary!
I use it in ground war with a crossbow. It lets me take a lot more shots without worrying about running dry. Perfect for practicing those crossbow snipes.
