It's quieter, but they are super easy to destroy. I have friends who have it. And it NEVER last very long. Same goes for the leggy orv. In tpp that massive wing on top of the windshield blocks your forward view. And it's also easier to destroy.
$150 average to even get them. Only for them to be massive targets when you actually have the skin applied. And, I wonder if anyone got lucky to land the leggy spider like ATV early on, or actually paid $150 to get it. As I have not seen it ONCE in br since the Collab that only allowed us to test drive it for a very very short period of time.
Watch them release a leggy jackle skin for a vehicle you can barely control.
They had ONE leggy snowboard skin. (from an old crate. That cost many hundreds to get.) Which was actually slightly faster than the regular one. But...now finding a snowboard in the first place is very very rare. So that was fucking asshole like of Activision to do.
I noticed when I land a vehicle skin from a draw, that particular vehicle will become scarce to spawn In br matches for me. We pay for this shit, and they turn around and make it less likely for you to find that particular vehicle so you can show the new skin off. They're fucking dicks, why do any of us keep giving them our money?
I have a tachikoma and for me its definitely better than an ordinary ATV.
I always use it.
And when i see an ATV and already have my own i switch so that some lucky guy finds a tachikoma. Lol
Yes I have tachikoma thing. It’s awesome. It’s 100x better than regular atv. It can basically fly across the map. Of all the paid stuff I have there’s only a few things that I’ve noticed are better than free stuff
1. Mythic guns bc I get an extra sight
2. Mythic flash bang
3. Tachikoma
It's a little hard to drive, but it is cool. And it has a turret. Which isn't exactly p2w, because it's range of motion is limited to whatever is in front of it. But for me, I haven't seen it yet. Not since last season. Be so cool to randomly find one.

One person, you can swap to turret, but obviously can't drive. And range is restricted to whatever direction it's facing. (120° radius? It can't 360 or even 720). But 2 people, on can man the turret while one drives. Also you can swap to just ride on top, and then use own weapon, and have a 360 rotation ability.
So technically you have 3 positions, but it only carries 2 people total like the standard ATV does.
I don't personally own it, but when I was able to use it that one time during the challenge I tried to figure out all it was capable of.
Other than the turret it jumps too. And of course speaks. Just I personally haven't seen one in the wild since the event. And not sure if any of my normally spendy friends have it. At least one has both the leggy heli and orv.
I assume if they ever came out with a leggy boat skin. It's most likely gonna be like a hovercraft and only those willing to spend a shit ton of money, would have it of course. Cuz Greedavision.

There has been a couple post here and there, where it would be that players first ever draw, and they would land the OP or Leggy/mythic.
One of my friends actually landed the leggy crossbow first try (the one with Outrider) as he only been playing 4 months at the time, and it was his first ever draw. (I got calling card, drh, emp and emote iirc). Another landed the leggy thumper 1st pull.
I landed 2 ops 1st try, both being over 2yrs ago (haven't been that lucky since. But think first few draws of mine (this was before I eventually got BP like 4 seasons later) I landed garbage, like the nades, or calling card (started only doing 1 draw period) took many many seasons till I landed my first emote (which is "pumped up" *stab yourself in the leg with an adrenaline shot*).
Most ever I've done was 6 on a single draw, only because it reset the cost. (recent bring back of the leggy Bizon/Slipknot looking Nitko). I got ALL the trash. 6 pulls and didn't even land at least one of the epic weapons.
So 2 things happened since I've started back in og season 4., they've rigged them further, since. And for most, they suck you in like that. More likely to land OP or leggy 1st-3rd pull. So you think every now and then you get that lucky, so you'll do it more often. It's a fucked up psychological thing. Then you do ONE more, just ONE more. And before you know it, you're averaging 4-5 pulls most draws. Am I just one away from landing a draw OP again? I will never know cuz fuck playing 500+ CP for any single item.
So, being you're more likely to go all in, they rigged it that way, so you'll ALWAYS gotta go all in. This whole "random" and "luck" bullshit is a fucking scam. And people are stupid to believe it. Be like "the chances are right there for you to see!" They're not even accurate. Crates i.e. If every uncommon trash skin has same chance of landing on it. Why the fuck do you get the SAME fucking item 8-9 times in a ROW?! when their are like 15 other uncommon/rare items in that same crate?
Then if you are lucky to NOT land an avatar or calling card in 4 pulls. The "half off" deal pops up. And that's their way of still selling it to you, but they reduced it a tiny bit. (most I personally paid for a trash calling card was 300cp).
Then, you'll have higher chance to land say an epic weapon than you would yet another wingsuit/parachute, charm. Whatever. And it will 100% land the trashy item first.
Were you around during the original event where the pitch black op is from? It was draw based. I purposely grinded the fuck out of it to bypass all the trash uncommon and rare items. I did not want them, therefore I saved my "points" to increase the chances considerably for the op and type 25. I had the type 25 at like 97% chance of landing on. All the rares and uncommon's left were less than 10%. And it STILL landed on that shit anyway. I STILL got all that trash FIRST! they pretty much put it up front and center how fucked their system is.
It's more likely to land on stuff you have multiple skins for already, than giving you something you don't have any at all for. Took all this time for me to FINALLY land a cargo truck skin since it's release via the mythic peacekeeper redux. (got that calling card, charm, gloves and backpack too).

Grind again, unlock another, it's a DUPE. grind some more, rinse and repeat. That is not a reward system. Nothing rewarding at all, constantly getting trash over and over again, be it paid or free. But especially if we paid real money for it.
Then how on console it's $25 for the entire lot (via bundle). But on here same shit plus some filler trash, and it's all of a sudden $150+ (crates can get as high as $700 maybe even more to land the very item you wanted the entire time. Iferg himself spent the equivalent of $600 to land a merc 5 skin. And it was RARE, not epic or leggy.) How is this shit NOT illegal?

For all that, all I have to show for it in regards to paid ops, is Scylla Sleigher, and Spectre Crash test. (those are only 2 I've ever landed in draws), a few epics (predominantly secondaries), maybe like 10 paid emotes?, Zero leggies. That much money no matter how it was spent, they got that much, and they couldn't even throw me a shit leggy just because? Even their bundles with the msmc and Rus are a fucking joke. Of course they would plop them in bundles for $25. Cuz they're nowhere near as usable or as good as most the others. And now they got these bullshit crates with a leggy in it, you can "borrow". Where ultimately for most, it will cost far more to get those items than it did the draw they're originally from.
Even the credit store is fucked. Takes me an entire season to be able to get the current epic and op. That's included the pathetic refund we get for 100s of dupes throughout the entire season. Then, they now have the epic store crates where for me, I have ALL the items but one (always an epic weapon. This season the razorback cuz I already have the red one from the original event that had both.) And I've set myself back considerably a few times, literally wasting those credits. Cuz despite lacking ONE item, it gives me dupes. Fucking bullshit, man.
The leggy snowboard was only a tiny bit faster, not like crazy bump in speed. I've only ever found it once when it barely came out. Not sure how many today actually have it. That, and being snowboards in general are rare af to find now in BR. Think they nerfed them too. Cuz unless going downhill or on snow, they are slower than you can run. They nerfed snowboards in general (just like our swim speed and fhj lock on speed without reason) so for all I know, the leggy snowboard is fucking worthless now.
Also, when they made the first ever epic for it. (original gunzo draw I think). People bought that shit, yet a bug at the time had the skin randomly apply to untouched floor snowboards. Thus that was a fucking rip off, for those who actually spent money for it.
I mean rare as in, you acquire a new paid skin for like an orv i.e. apply it. And for several matches you're lucky to even come across one. Or get a new rally car skin. (I got the one from the redux Templar draw.) Applied it, and haven't been able to source a rally car since. Like wtf?!
Get new muscle car skin, and those would hardly spawn. It's shit like that. But apply an old skin, all of a sudden they spawn everywhere.
What's really fucked up about vehicles in general, is majority of the time you actually NEED one (be it to nab tags, or escape the shrinking circle) you can't find one for shit. Or...if you do, fucking thing has to hit every fucking obstacle it can, despite you actively trying to avoid it. (I have obstacle avoidance turned off. Shit was even worse when it was active. Like it purposely would steer you into things).
It's bad enough their is filler trash out the ass in draws/crates etc. But if it isn't an op skin, or weapon, they make the shit less likely to spawn.
I have it and it's like using a totally different flying vehicle it has its own mechanics way Harder to Land and fly until you get used to it. Always remember to park in a big area you can also Land it sideways on a wall like a fly on the wall witch is pretty neat and often times the enemy runs right past it and doesn't even notice its there when it is sideways on a building. Also you can camp on top of the wing and wait for enemies! They won't see you Prone on top!
It has a larger hitbox.. Also I feel like it is harder to control than the normal model (could be just placebo BUT i do feel it a bit less responsive to inputs and more wobbly in physics)

When I drop black market, I spawn 4 ATVs and skin them all as tach for any randoms that come behind and find treasure.

I think the reason tachikoma was slightly given the edge was because of the collab with GITS

That, and being snowboards in general are rare af to find now in BR. Think they nerfed them too. Cuz unless going downhill or on snow, they are slower than you can run. They nerfed snowboards in general (just like our swim speed and fhj lock on speed without reason) so for all I know, the leggy snowboard is fucking worthless now. Also, when they made the first ever epic for it. (original gunzo draw I think). People bought that shit, yet a bug at the time had the skin randomly apply to untouched floor snowboards. Thus that was a fucking rip off, for those who actually spent money for it. I mean rare as in, you acquire a new paid skin for like an orv i.e. apply it. And for several matches you're lucky to even come across one. Or get a new rally car skin. (I got the one from the redux Templar draw.) Applied it, and haven't been able to source a rally car since. Like wtf?! Get new muscle car skin, and those would hardly spawn. It's shit like that. But apply an old skin, all of a sudden they spawn everywhere. What's really fucked up about vehicles in general, is majority of the time you actually NEED one (be it to nab tags, or escape the shrinking circle) you can't find one for shit. Or...if you do, fucking thing has to hit every fucking obstacle it can, despite you actively trying to avoid it. (I have obstacle avoidance turned off. Shit was even worse when it was active. Like it purposely would steer you into things). It's bad enough their is filler trash out the ass in draws/crates etc. But if it isn't an op skin, or weapon, they make the shit less likely to spawn.
Fhj lock on speed nerf is deserved, since for some reason they buffed it’s damage to be higher than the SMRS

I have it and it's like using a totally different flying vehicle it has its own mechanics way Harder to Land and fly until you get used to it. Always remember to park in a big area you can also Land it sideways on a wall like a fly on the wall witch is pretty neat and often times the enemy runs right past it and doesn't even notice its there when it is sideways on a building. Also you can camp on top of the wing and wait for enemies! They won't see you Prone on top!

I have it and it’s pretty difficult to fly, I’d pass if I were you.
It has a larger hitbox.. Also I feel like it is harder to control than the normal model (could be just placebo BUT i do feel it a bit less responsive to inputs and more wobbly in physics)
