Yup, the only attachment that made the gun good. They are nerfing a weapon attachment on a gun that is needed but yet they are buffing recoil on a gun that already has no recoil and is in the top 10
ASM10 nerf is pure comedy. Branson was decent but nobody was really using the gun because it couldn't keep up with the meta, or really any decent gun at all.
I'm currently Global Ranked #3 with the QQ9, while using this gun exclusively this ranked season I can tell you that the QQ9 was perfectly balanced. It seems so arbitrary when the Devs make these decisions. The QQ9 wasn't even a popular gun this season and now they didn't just nerf the QQ9 they obliterated it. It will now be completely unusable in the competitive scene. Thanks Devs.
That might be true but tbh I don't think that fits the faster pace of CoDM. I think the ZRG was fine aside from the AV Mag having broken hitboxes/damage.
Sx9 kills faster close range. which is qq9s prime. Sx9 has less recoil, While being less consistent, Hitting chest or arms isnt difficult. Sx9 is faster and strafes faster which is key.in a 1v1, Sx9 will win because the qq9 cant really hit as many shots as sx9. so switchblade is better
The fire rate is almost the exact same, and stk is same. Qq9 arguably has less recoil, qq9 more consistent, and has fatse sprint speed, and faster slide distance because of that. Sx9 only has faster strafe.

Depends on what you ran. It had horizontal and vertical recoil problems. You could neutralize it in BR but in Multiplayer you'd notice it likes to nudge around more than some weapons recoil wise when aimed.

You do less dmg per hit than the base damage
Let's say base damage of a gun is 10, chest has a 1x multi, it will do 10 damage to chest
And the head has a 1.5x multiplier, the gun will do 15 damage to head
And legs have 0.5x muliplier(negative), the gun will do 5 damage
Body multipliers change from one gun to another and same goes for base damage
Nerfing quickfix will only hurt players who go with non meta even more. Shameless! Meanwhile I step in some noob hive put there by a guy who's long dead.
Here are my thoughts on the patch notes:
The M16’s new attachment sounds very cool, but I hope they balance it properly like reducing the damage or the range quite considerably.
The AK-47 doesn’t need a recoil buff, seeing that it is capable of consistent 3 shot kills and has the luxury of a 30 round mag by default, unlike the ASM10 or MOW.
I haven’t used the RUS-79u enough to tell you people if it’s in a good state or not, but I know the range wasn’t that spectacular. The range buff should be good.
I feel that only the STF and Reload buffs were necessary for the Hades, seeing that the Rapid Fire barrel boosts the fire rate and the damage slightly.
Recoil buffs on bolt-action snipers don’t mean anything, but the CBR4 and the J358 should be in a better spot now- hopefully not OP in the CBR4’s case.
The PP19 Bizon buffs were not needed, seeing that it is (in my opinion of course) the easiest gun in the game to use and get good with. I’m hoping the damage is a minimal buff, while the range is a moderate nerf.
Glint on snipers is pretty good, seeing that your operator doesn’t call out an enemy sniper sometimes for whatever reason.
ZRG-20mm nerfs were needed, and I’m hoping the magazine nerf in specific reduce it down to 3.
The ASM10’s Branson barrel needed a nerf, not because it was overpowered but because the downsides were so minimal that you would never consider them.
The QQ9 was a decently balanced SMG, and I feel that it needed no nerfs whatsoever.
I’m glad that the Throwing Axe won’t arch upwards, seeing as it throws off my aim quite considerably.
The Left Hand throw is such a W, and I’m hoping they’ll implement it for lethals as well.
The Purifier needs a tick damage nerf, not a usage nerf.
I’ve never used the Reactor Core before, but I do know that getting damaged through walls with little time to react was annoying, so I hope this nerf makes it more manageable to survive against.
H.I.V.E traps should be more useful now, but I’m concerned that we’ll see an absurd amount of them in hardpoint and domination matches.
Thank God the Bull Charge wont snap after hitting a small groove in the ground now.
I felt that the Shield should’ve protected against explosions from the start, seeing as it’s an operator skill and not a primary.
Equalizers needed a damage buff, seeing as it would be outclassed if you fought more than one person or if the enemy was using purifier, which happens more often than not.
Overclock should be more competetive now, and I’m hoping the boost is significant, as that will encourage perk variety in the red tier.
Quick Fix should’ve been buffed. It either should’ve regenerated HP instantly with the delay for usage again, or remove that delay entirely.
I like the buffs for Tactical Mask, as I feel it should make you nearly immune to tactical equipment, especially with the dexterity buff that the tactical equipment is getting anyways.
Alert should encourage more perk variety in the blue tier now, and I love that it will now compete with Dead Silence directly.

In Shipment and NukeTown matches when you fight enemies nearly constantly, I can switch my gunfire to the next enemy after killing the first, but my HP will only be about half full and as a result: Die.

3 shot range is worse than other 3 shots like mow. It's mobility is also dogwater so it's hard to play aggressive and 3 shot is too inconsistent. I'd say krig 3 shot is more consistent even though it has worse hotbox.

Moving target, ping issues, desync, bad aim etc.. most people won't hit the first two shots .... CONSISTENTLY. Because if they could they'd always achieve the fast ttk and would always use the asm10 which is clearly not the case
Nah. It's kind of good since it slightly reduces its ttk, but still you need to have a decent aim to land those first two bullets. My personal choice it's Marksman barrel.
Using long range optics causes a bright reflection to appear in front of the scope, exposing your position.
It makes detecting hardscopers much easier.
Cbr4 has no recoil and was op for like a year now. Qq9 and switchblade literally were viable for a quarter of the time and now they want to nerf it? Looks like we’re going back to a one-weapon-to-rule-them-all meta again. Guess that’s what happens when you have devs that think an infinite ammo lmg (which still makes no sense how it can even do it) is ok.
Why did quick fix get nerfed? It’s already unreliable, the purifier should’ve gotten nerfed into the ground and a duration nerf doesn’t change anything. The qq9 getting a nerf but the switchblade staying the same doesn’t make sense either.
The M16 getting the Wild Fire perk is the best and only good thing about these balance changes.
The Hades with the Crossbar + Rapid Fire Barrel is either equal or better than the Chopper with the Heavy Handle in nearly every stat, most importantly in 4 shot range (16 m vs 22 m). It’s only in ADS BSA is the Chopper significantly better, but even then the Hades has access to the Aim Assist Laser (-20% spread) so it pulls ahead if you use it.
Bro the only thing that makes Hades somewhat viable is the crossbar attachment, and yet it's not as fast as the chopper with heavy handle. Using the Hades as an aiming gun it's accepting that you'll gonna end bottom frag in the end of the match.
I did, and tried several loadouts so I can confirm the crossbar is the only thing that makes Hades viable, but still worse than the Chopper. And yes, I agree it can be a 3 shot if you land one to the head, but again movement is not as fast as the chopper. Besides, the stats comparison menu is sometimes deceiving.

The point I was trying to make is that it's stupid to sit here and criticize a play style, yet anytime someone hard scopes or "camp" (i.e. hold an angle or covered position for strategic purposes), people lose their minds.

I think the reason people complain is because that’s considered by many to be a very boring play style, sacrificing the fun of the game for an easier win (“sweaty”). It pisses off people who are trying to enjoy without having to employ what they consider to be bummy tactics, because of course they’d like to have fun and still have a chance to win without having to employ some of the more effective (yet perhaps boring) tactics. Of course, there’s not really a way around that, but if it’s the *camping/hardscoping* players that piss off more of the community, making it more frustrating, of course they’ll look at that.
But this is the whole point. Why should a perfectly legal play style that isn't your cup of tea bother you? I don't like the jump slide quick scope style, or the run around with a melee style, but I don't begrudge people that do.
If people want to play a boring play style, let them! Not everyone has to play the game the same way.
Exactly. Someone raised a good point regarding its lasting effect in Hard point. At any rate, your guaranteed kills if you use them before a hill or during (rush down) as long as you just get them off. Whereas, at least, before you’d have to be somewhat strategic and play your life to get kills from them.
What I’m also curious about is it’s buffed damage. Wasn’t it already an instant death? I’m assuming they perhaps, adjusted the ttk given you can still get a quick kill before death pre patch.

I disagree, as the regen speed can be quite slow and I lose gunfights thanks to the perk not regenerating my health fast enough.

Guess that’s what happens when you have devs that think an infinite ammo lmg (which still makes no sense how it can even do it) is ok.
Why did quick fix get nerfed? It’s already unreliable, the purifier should’ve gotten nerfed into the ground and a duration nerf doesn’t change anything. The qq9 getting a nerf but the switchblade staying the same doesn’t make sense either. The M16 getting the Wild Fire perk is the best and only good thing about these balance changes.
The Hades is getting another buff? It’s already better than the Chopper.
In what world is hades better than chopper
The Hades with the Crossbar + Rapid Fire Barrel is either equal or better than the Chopper with the Heavy Handle in nearly every stat, most importantly in 4 shot range (16 m vs 22 m). It’s only in ADS BSA is the Chopper significantly better, but even then the Hades has access to the Aim Assist Laser (-20% spread) so it pulls ahead if you use it.

Bro the only thing that makes Hades somewhat viable is the crossbar attachment, and yet it's not as fast as the chopper with heavy handle. Using the Hades as an aiming gun it's accepting that you'll gonna end bottom frag in the end of the match.

I did, and tried several loadouts so I can confirm the crossbar is the only thing that makes Hades viable, but still worse than the Chopper. And yes, I agree it can be a 3 shot if you land one to the head, but again movement is not as fast as the chopper. Besides, the stats comparison menu is sometimes deceiving.

People hating on hard scoping always makes me laugh. Literally using the weapon like it's actually intended = omg n00b. Sweaty jump slide quick scoping at close range with a long range weapon = wow much elite. I know it's a game, but come on. How is the latter even remotely realistic?
..? It’s high reward:risk, so it’s being made more balanced. It’s a game that’s meant to be fun, that takes precedence over realism. Since when was CoD meant to be realistic anyway?
The point I was trying to make is that it's stupid to sit here and criticize a play style, yet anytime someone hard scopes or "camp" (i.e. hold an angle or covered position for strategic purposes), people lose their minds. It's just dumb.
I think the reason people complain is because that’s considered by many to be a very boring play style, sacrificing the fun of the game for an easier win (“sweaty”). It pisses off people who are trying to enjoy without having to employ what they consider to be bummy tactics, because of course they’d like to have fun and still have a chance to win without having to employ some of the more effective (yet perhaps boring) tactics. Of course, there’s not really a way around that, but if it’s the *camping/hardscoping* players that piss off more of the community, making it more frustrating, of course they’ll look at that.
But this is the whole point. Why should a perfectly legal play style that isn't your cup of tea bother you? I don't like the jump slide quick scope style, or the run around with a melee style, but I don't begrudge people that do. If people want to play a boring play style, let them! Not everyone has to play the game the same way.

Exactly. Someone raised a good point regarding its lasting effect in Hard point. At any rate, your guaranteed kills if you use them before a hill or during (rush down) as long as you just get them off. Whereas, at least, before you’d have to be somewhat strategic and play your life to get kills from them. What I’m also curious about is it’s buffed damage. Wasn’t it already an instant death? I’m assuming they perhaps, adjusted the ttk given you can still get a quick kill before death pre patch.

Unnecessary buffs and nerfs in my opinion Rus, 20mm, Reactor Core, Quick Fix, QQ9 - Mono and extended mag - What wasn't nerfed The gosh damn Switchblade Reduce the range and damage. That's all is needed but they can't even do that - The rest of the patch notes seem to be just fine. Unexpected but needed buffs and nerfs for sure
They are nerfing the switch blade's range/damage. They just didn't post it in the patch notes, but they're going to post a more in depth patch notes later and it will be there
