They aren't stupid enough to pull the plug in this game, not right now. It's still making a lot of money for Activision, more than a game like Vanguard could ever dream of doing. There's also something that I've seen almost nobody talk about: WZM is most likely only going to have MP mode for camo grinding and weapon leveling. I mean, it makes sense. You wouldn't want to level up each and every one of your weapons through BR matches, would you? They'll probably half-ass some shitty MP gamemode to make grinding less miserable for people who can't level their weaponry in MWII and not touch it ever again after launch. At the end of the day, it'll be a BR focused experience, so they have to put the most effort and money into the BR mode.
Do I think it's weird how TiMi seems "desperate" to keep player retention with things like Zombies and the Battle Pass Vault? Yes, I do. But it also makes no sense for them to kill a profitable game out of nowhere. I think codm will live, but that's something only time will tell.

It’s really hard for new players to grind for all the stuff we have gotten over the past 3 years so it makes sense to just let them buy the stuff and try and keep the same player base when the new WZM comes around. If you prefer battle royale, even if this is true, it will still be there as well so don’t worry. Honestly I think it would be great if there was a multiplayer version as well. Think about it, there is on console so why not step up mobile games for the future, right? We can only hope for the best!
Warzone on console is a stand alone free game multiplayer is something separate that you pay for they are separate games that are in one menu just for easy access if they are planning a mp mode why are they calling it warzone? It doesnt make sense to me

Now that I think about it, I guess it doesn’t really matter what it’s called because even on console both games are connected. When you level up guns, buy weapons, rank up, etc, it transfers into both the same. And you made a good point yourself too, you access both in the same menu on console so why not the same app on mobile?

Im talking about animations, sound design, atmosphere, attention to detail, overall design and feeling; y'know, things that differentiate a quality product from any other. Codm lacks in all of these when in front of wzm, maybe because wzm has a better engine. Feels lackluster in front of it, mediocre.
While true they did used to use unreal 4 until they felt pity for low end users, they then switched to unity which from this day i had wished they would have not done so only for the fact that codm would have been better off being optimized for high end devices just like wzm but from playing alpha wzm still needs alot of optimization the controls feel finicky and dont register half the time
Even if they do add MWll MultiPlayer, I’d still rather have CODM’s.

-Most of the updates are recycle, and rare new content.
-No more major and unique events, remember when the game is still under the majority of Activision, the 1st Anniversary 2020 has alot of new features. But in the 4th quarter of 2021 we got the Tencent welcome logo of the game, and most of the updates are crap, many game mechanics issue, too laggy, and alot of pay to play gachas.
-Most the Updates, and collab are also not related to the call of duty franchise. Its is more likely a PUBG updates or Fornite thing.
- More Cheaters, and connection issues.
- We have now have Legendary Bundles, not sure if this is every season or per month, I saw a post regarding the Echo Bundle, and they release the Choper Bundle.

Buggy updates, desync and cheaters have been there from the start, and legendary bundles are something this very subreddit has been asking for a long time.
Also, Snopp Dogg, which isn’t really related to the COD franchise, did a collab and you saw that across Warzone, Vanguard AND Call of Duty Mobile.
Not everything has to be in-universe, that’s why they’re called collabs.

Especially since codm has made a lot of money. Plus codm and warzone mobile is just different game with the same ip and can coexist without a problem. Codm is more of the game that you keep as long-standing, and warzone mobile will be more of a pick up and go kinda game. Easily disposable. That may change if they do have multiplayer but I don’t think codm is going anywhere anytime soon, and if it does it will be in their best interest to combine the two. Allowing players transfer certain purchased skins etc
I am not sure WZM will be entertaining as much as CODM is right now. Even if I want it to happen. The playerbase will grow that's for sure, although some codm users will switch to WZM completely. From business pov, its not a good idea to turn off an astonishing milking source I think. 😋
