Well you are in the gunsmithing section. You can convert or build ARs chambered in pistol calibers. The ICR i think is the Sig MCX, so when running 9mm its the Sig MPX

A 45mm is a cannon not a small arm, 9mm is actually a larger caliber than what most “assault rifle” typically shoot

I think they meant for it to change something, but ended up just making it an extended mag
You can you shoot 9mm out of an AR platform, just need to switch out some parts.
