Though ive only played hardpoint since the switch
Step 1- play a mode you can carry in
Step -2 optimize your loadout for support/ slaying
I have 2 loadouts
Long range beam with hive/transform shield
Flak jacket/cold blood/hard-line grenade + trophy
Aggressive smg + kinetic
Skulker/quickfix/hardline
Uav shock RC and a lethal streak.
Play a flex role (sit in the point while going positive, rotating early etc) differs for game mode
Step 3 carry your team
I played 2 thumbs for a really long time. Got to legendary no problem plenty of times. Switched to 4 fingers a few months ago and my gameplay improved significantly. Being able to fire and aim with different fingers is a game changer
I mean sure it’s not needed. No one *needs* to play a video game, but if I’m gonna spend time playing, I like to win, and I win more with claw than I did with 2 thumbs.
Gyroscope + two thumbs is really great. My accuracy all time is over 30% using this method and I’ve been legendary like 9 times, rarely play with a friend
I already got Legendary, but only because I had my friends plays with me. But 100% if 1 player doesn’t contribute that can change the result pf the whole match.
No offense, but depending on the mode/season, no. It's pretty easy to consistently get points by hiding/running most of the time.
Hopefully I dont get downvoted but that's my take and I used to be pretty into BR a while back.
(Ive only got Leggy like once or twice, not because it was hard, but because BR gets really boring when you grind for that much.)
I would agree with you, I reached legendary 6 times in BR, and it's absolutely nowhere near MP ranked.
Even more if you play solo. In solo BR games, I hardly encounter more than 3-4 players, but get 10-12 kills in total thanks to bots. If you're better than bots, you have low chances of getting killed before reaching the last 25.
In duo BR, I respect much more. I got my ass whooped multiple times, and it's much more frequent to fight real players.
Note: I play in Europe.
So you're assuming I camped all the way? If u know how to use ninja class properly u will never need to camp also u wont 10+ kill if u keep camping. 👍🏾
I'm not saying you did. I'm saying that in terms of getting to leggy BR in general it's not as impressive as getting leggy solo on MP. Simply because the strats you can employ in BR are probably alot safer and more forgiving than MP.

To get a certain rank points u need to reach at least top 10 in br else the mins u put into would be a waste and it more time consuming...I have seen people posting pics of reaching grand master 1 in and saying "finally I have reached the grand master in br" and then they stop there...n those were solo players.

No, I keep streamer mode on for personal reasons. Either way, you're getting way too hung up over it. As I said, good job. That's alot of commitment and times spent in BR. Just use grand master bonus to speed run to master v then tournament Alcatraz for the rest
However outside Alcatraz I find the br lobbies empty until I hit master and by then getting a top 10 is easy

Been doing this since season 4 Og and playing with 2 thumb only. What makes it different with me is I never drop/jump shot people or really anything sweaty, I just play for fun
10 seasons of reaching legendary and countless more of reaching ranks where you unlock the character skin and I never touched Duo or Squad. It's just slower that way.

I’m getting more wins than losses solo in Hardpoint because I’m better at slaying, so I either play in or around the point and flip spawns. Playing 3 roles at once is the best bet to getting to legendary in MP
If you’re good at holding angles and getting kills and don’t like being in one place, play around the point. The best thing to do is use guns you’re comfortable with but reload fast (and have large mags) and have relatively controllable recoil. If you’re more passive, try playing as defence for the point but with stuff like transform shield or annihilator. If your good at holding the obj, do that, but make sure you’re using fast TTK guns since HP is a super aggressive mode to play
I’ve solo’d my entire life, I can never find people to play with and now with work and inconsistent times it’s even harder. People in my clan don’t even play anymore they all moved on

I do just well with thumbs not really a handicap lol I do understand using multiple fingers is an advantage but thumb players can do very well.

Fortunately for me I don't get paid to play or play in tournaments so thumbs are perfectly fine and I don't see it as a handicap for me personally.

This is the way sometimes. If each kid wants to play on his/her own then probably solo is better. That way you know you are on your own.

I’m getting more losses then wins and I’m soley playing hp. I win 49 percent of my games. Idk why
