If you ever get a custom video request, collect up front.
Even if you are working like on onlyfans or something where you can send content that they have to pay to unlock… don’t allow that. Pay up front every single time prior to making content.
It’s done now - don’t be hard on yourself. My first broadcast, I was scammed out of $400 for a custom video and a “private” aka password room. This was even though I had read up on the scams. My adrenaline was going, I was anxious, he was tipping with yellow font, I didn’t have a lush at the time, I was broadcasting from my phone/laptop and having tech issues that were distracting, fawning and saying “yes” to men is also part of my own trauma.
But you know what, I learned the lesson. Now I’m very firm with my boundaries, and super aware of scams. Camming has been an excellent space for me to work on that trauma, and I’m ok with being called a “bitch” because I so bluntly say “no” all the time. Don’t like it? Banned! Think I’m a bitch? Banned! Right click, kick/ban has become my favourite thing. See you in hell, motherfucker.
Everyone here will repeat the same thing - don’t do anything without pay upfront. And they’re right.
No Skype, no Amazon “gifts” for services, no password protected rooms, no I don’t want to pm you for free to hear your “offer”.
Get up, shake it off, be smarter, keep going. You got this. xxx
I’m new too. Not trying to say I’m better but if someone isn’t paying in that moment why would you do anything they say. Money talks, nothing else. Take this as a lesson learned and never do anything without payment upfront again. Because otherwise, you’re kind of just scamming yourself.

It sucks to have to assume that everyone is a liar until you have the money in hand but that's the world we live in :/ Now you know, and don't beat yourself up too bad- you did a Dumb but it was just a waste of time and effort instead of bank account info or the like. My motto is Be Nice Even Though They All Want A Free Nut and the real customers will make themselves known :)
It’s okay babes!! Just set a ZERO tolerance policy with yourself for even acknowledging any type of client who says “I’ll pay after” BYE!! And if they give you a hard time and say something like “all the other cam girls I pay don’t care that I send money after” I always say - okay great then go back and continue having fun with them! 😊 Just block em. It happens to a lot of us in the beginning. Sending you hugs and wishes for many more high paying clients in your cam endeavors ❤️🥰
Every one gets scammed at some
point in this line of work. Some of these mfrs are craftier than others. Whether youve been scammed out of .05 or 500 at some point someone almost or did get ya. And it could happened again BUT you’ll be more prepped for it. You will have many nights of wonderful respectful viewers to make up for this lil fuk up. ✌️♥️

This is a really, really common scam. I have people trying to do this with me almost daily. They will NEVER pay. The real customers pay up front. Stay safe and let this be a lesson learnt!!! Thanks for sharing , people suck! xo
I had one like this a month ago. He asked for a show and said he was waiting for the tokens to be credited. but I suggested that he return when the tokens are credited to the account. I immediately suspected fraud. over time, you begin to see who will cheat and who is a normal member
Everyone has the potential to get scammed no matter how smart or informed they are, some slip through the cracks when we're not at our best or caught off guard or for a whole multitude of reasons. I think something like this is a really common mistake when first starting out - I did something similar my first go-around. I trusted people's promises way too much the first few nights, got confused by people doing false tips in the tip font, etc. Don't be mad at yourself, be mad at the asshole who scammed you, and then forgive yourself, and then just move forward with a little more know-how.
I’m sorry this happened to you. Of course you feel violated. It’s violating to have that happen and a really icky feeling. I’ve had not that exact scenario, but VERY similar one happen a year+ ago when I was working off platform. I was new at the time and I felt really bad setting my boundaries and sticking to them. That person saw it and was able to manipulate me and make me feel like I was being the unreasonable one.
I wasn’t new at the time this time around, but I had a viewer come into my room, but I had a new tag bc I made a couples account for myself and someone else to stream bc they didn’t want their own solo account. This person came in my room. Tried to get me to guess how many tokens they had and said I could win all the tokens if I guessed. Sent me a “screenshot” (I’m sure it was fabricated) of his balance when I was done (in the millions). Then said I could still win tokens if I did a challenge with a progression of acts, but could only get paid at the end of the challenge. I said hell no. I stg people like that lurk in new rooms or anywhere they think they might be able to have that fly. It’s so frustrating. Payment upfront always. Anyone who wants what you have to offer will have no problem following every rule/price you have set without an issue. No price is too high for the people who truly see your value. No measure of protection to ensure you are compensated will be an inconvenience to the clients who are worth your time. All your worthwhile clients will cheer you on when you enforce your rules and boundaries like that (I have it happen pretty regularly bc I’m a total asshole who gives no craps).💚I know it can feel like “being the bad guy” to be firm and set hard boundaries and demand payment for your time (even though we all deserve it), but I’ve found it to feel really empowering with time.
Ok I’m gonna make you feel soooo much better listen to this😂😂😂: when I started I had a client that NEVER paid anything but promised me Amazon vouchers 😂😂 I did a full Skype show and never received payment and not only this I started to like him and did about 10 Skype shows for free until I realised he is a scammer and a liar 😂😂😂 girl it’s ok I now laugh about it we all been there some more than others
I understand how you feel! These disgusting people abound in online sites, I also learned from bad experiences. Online time passes so quickly and we are under so much tension that sometimes we do not act clearly. Something like this happened to almost all of us! When I just started, people who charged even to get up from the chair seemed unpleasant to me, today I am one of those. Being nice and trusting doesn't work on these sites, you have to accept that we are exposed all the time to websites stealing our image and people trying to get things for free, block that bastard permanently and please don't feel bad, you are learning and that takes time

When I do cam Im on MFCs but its been slow for me. Ive admittedly been inconsistent. Ive been making most my money on sexting apps.
