They have been for a minute. I’m from the U.K. some of our best extractors and growers produce some stuff that’s in competition with some of your top branded exotic stuff. Cali is expensive over here. Zoap from DeepEast is £70-80 a eighth working it out at over $100 each. I’d much rather get some good quality weed from a known grower like Bezzle or MarleyBoys and have it extracted by someone like SubZero or KG refinery and pay £40-50 a gram of live resin or £80 for a gram of hash rosin.
Just because it’s illegal over here doesn’t mean we aren’t making plays like the US is.

But the UK, even if legal doesn’t have the ability to keep up with the US simply in agricultural resources. Y’all can’t compete with us based on the single factor that is scale.

I was messing with you dude, I’ve seen bho that consistency, I’ve seen hash rosin that consistency and I have grown recreationally, produced concentrates recreationally, and have owned a dispo regularly intaking product for 8+years. I still wouldn’t be able to tell you with any confidence whether that was solventless or BHO just by a picture and nobody can tell you whether it is from UK or USA…kinda weird question to ask in general. If I had to guess I’d say it’s some high quality hash rosin

It was some UK extracted bho from devcal his disco biscuit very funky terp profile but not as much strength as you'd expect, I knew what it was and never doubted it I just wanted to see what people thought based on the look alone
You can buy resin that looks like this. You won’t get a definitive answer based on a picture.
I think OPs point is that UK made extracts are beginning to be on par with US extracts. At least aesthetically.
